10x Jeweler's Loupe — 25mm LED Lighted Magnifier
Product description
Optical specification and measurement features
This loupe provides 10x magnification and includes a reticle with a minimum scale division of 0.1 mm for detailed measurement work. The optical element gives a broad 25 mm field of view so you can see a larger area at once — useful for gems, coins, textiles, circuit boards and embroidery.
Illumination and power
The magnifier is fitted with multiple bright LEDs arranged around the viewing area to illuminate small subjects in low light. The LED array is powered by button-cell batteries (some units are shipped with batteries installed) and an on/off switch controls the lights.
Size, build and included accessories
The unit is compact — roughly 30 mm in overall length — and housed in a compact body for handheld use. It ships with a soft artificial leather (faux-leather) case to protect the lens during transport and storage. The larger eyepiece diameter is convenient for eye use and for photographing through with a phone camera.
How it is used
To measure, position the reticle directly over the item so the scale aligns with the feature you want to read; the reticle can be used or removed depending on preference. The LEDs provide supplementary light for inspection and the compact form factor makes it easy to carry for field checks or hobby work such as reading maps, inspecting antiques, evaluating collectibles or performing jewelry repair and restoration.
Handling and maintenance notes
The focusing mechanism allows some adjustment for use with or without eyeglasses; a small number of users find the focus ring needs a quick alignment or tightening out of the box. Keep the bottom reticle cap or protective cover on when not in use to prevent dust or deposits on the measuring plate.
Pros
- 10x magnification with 0.1mm reticle for precise measurement
- Bright LED illumination and a wide 25mm viewing area
- Compact design with soft faux-leather protective case
Cons
- A few units arrive with dead or intermittent batteries/LEDs
- Focus ring may need user adjustment on some pieces
- Reports of fragile plastic housing in some long-term cases
VerdictThis 10x jeweler's loupe delivers strong magnification and a wide 25mm field of view combined with an accurate 0.1mm reticle for measurements. The built-in LEDs make details easy to see in dim conditions and the supplied faux-leather pouch keeps the lens protected on the go. Most users report crisp optics and a useful eyepiece diameter for phone photography. A minority of units arrive with battery

Handy coin loupe
Solid frame and clear glass make coin inspection easier than with tiny triplets. The field of view is much larger, which is kinder on aging eyes.

Great piece — precise and affordable
Accurate and excellent value. The scale glass sits directly on the specimen for precise readings. Button cells are a bit awkward and there’s some lens distortion at the edges, but it doesn’t affect measurement accuracy. Excellent for taking dimensions from drawings.

Packaging and performance are top-notch
Packaging looked premium and it included a Japanese manual plus a leather-like case. Portable and convenient; reported unit had seven LEDs and showed good precision.

Excellent initially, later failed in storage
At first it felt high quality and worked flawlessly. After sitting in storage it disintegrated — lenses came loose and the plastic casing crumbled. Initial use was great, but durability appears inconsistent, so I can’t recommend it for long-term storage without caution.

Nice optics but arrived with issues
Positives: neat faux-leather case, bright LEDs and good optics; the scale is usable though a bit busy. Negatives: it arrived with dead cells and the switch set to on, and the focus ring would not engage at first. There’s no guide for disassembly or adjustments and no bottom cap for the reticle. If you’re comfortable fixing minor setup issues yourself, it’s acceptable; if you want a unit that works perfectly out of the box, you may be disappointed.

Light flicker and focus tip
Lens clarity is excellent, but my unit’s light switch was intermittent and there was some corrosion on the battery contacts that I cleaned. After testing multiple units, most worked immediately but a few had light or battery issues. Also, the focus often needs a simple reassembly trick — unscrew the top, set the rotating collar, and re-tighten — to restore focusing action.

Does the job for stone measuring
Bought to size small gems for repair. Optics are sharp and the LED is bright. The focus works with or without glasses and the scale is reliable when placed directly on the subject. The large eyepiece helps when photographing with a phone. Sturdy feel and good value.

Perfect for wood grain and phone imaging
I use it to view end grain to identify tree species and it performs very well. The LED is helpful and a phone clamp lets me record what I see. Far better for my needs than a traditional loupe.

Well-built and effective
This loupe stands out from cheaper handheld options. The construction feels quality and the LEDs really improve viewing — I’d call the lighting essential for this type of tool.
