A19 Dusk-to-Dawn Sensor LED Outdoor Bulbs, 60W Equivalent, 5000K, E26, 2-Pack
Product description
This product comes as a two-pack of A19-shaped LED bulbs featuring a standard E26 screw base for compatibility with most household exterior fixtures. Each bulb is rated as a 60-watt equivalent but consumes roughly 9 watts of electricity, producing daylight-balanced light at approximately 5000K. The items are built around LED diodes housed in a typical A19 enclosure with an integrated photocell sensor mounted in the bulb tip.
The photocell enables automatic dusk-to-dawn operation: bulbs illuminate after sunset and switch off at first light, removing the need for manual switching. They are intended for outdoor applications such as porch lights, garage fixtures, pathway posts, and other covered or semi-exposed mounts where a standard A19/E26 lamp is used. Physical size corresponds to the A19 form factor and the E26 base fits standard medium sockets.
Performance-wise, the manufacturer lists an estimated service life near 10,000 hours. That longevity, combined with the low 9W power draw and the automatic sensor, is designed to lower energy use compared with traditional 60W incandescent lamps. Installation is straightforward — screw into a live E26 socket and leave the wall switch in the ON position so the photocell can control nighttime operation.
Pros
- Automatic dusk-to-dawn operation with built-in photocell
- Bright daylight output (5000K) at low 9W draw
- Fits standard E26 sockets; simple screw-in install
Cons
- May take time to trigger in poorly lit or shaded fittings
- Lifespan rated around 10,000 hours, not ultra-long
- No dimming, color options, or smart connectivity
VerdictThese A19 dusk-to-dawn LED bulbs deliver bright, cool-white light with automatic operation and low energy draw. The built-in photocell reliably activates lighting at night and deactivates at sunrise, making them a convenient, low-maintenance option for exterior fixtures. With a standard E26 base, a 60W-equivalent output while using only 9W, and an advertised 10,000-hour lifespan, they suit homeown

Very satisfied
Works very well—lights switch based on ambient light and are consistent with expectations for a dusk-to-dawn lamp.

Good outdoor option instead of smart bulbs
Second time I’ve purchased these; the first set lasted about three years. This batch didn’t show the tiny red sensor spot I expected but functions the same. I prefer a weather-rated photocell bulb for outside use over a smart bulb.

Consistent outdoor light with automatic sensor
The built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor functions reliably, switching lights on after dark and off at sunrise. They provide steady, bright illumination while using much less power than old 60W bulbs. Installed on my porch and they’ve been dependable through varied weather—adds convenience and security.

Simple solution to keep exterior lights on at night
Perfect for front and back door lights. I was skeptical at first but these bulbs do exactly what I wanted: screw them in, leave the light switch on, and the bulb handles the rest. A good alternative to a smart bulb when you only need always-on night lighting.

Handy addition for outdoor lighting
Very easy to install and they turn on and off automatically with daylight. They give a good amount of light for porch fixtures and take the hassle out of remembering switches. So far they’ve performed exactly as I needed.

Worked after a short delay
I had doubts because the socket has limited direct light and it didn’t trigger immediately. Later that evening it activated and has worked fine since. My only remaining question is how long they’ll last.

Bright, durable exterior bulbs that stand up to weather
I installed these in my outdoor fixtures a few weeks ago and they’ve been great. The light is clear and bright without glare, and they worked immediately with no flicker. We’ve had cold evenings, rain, and wind and they’ve held up. They reach full brightness quickly and feel solidly built—good value compared with premium branded outdoor bulbs.
