Carbon‑Fiber Anti‑Static Vinyl Record Brush (Silver)
Product description
This is a handheld, dry-cleaning brush made for vinyl records. It uses conductive carbon fiber filaments to draw away static charge and lift loose dust, dirt and fingerprints from grooves. The bristles are fine and designed to be gentle on lacquer and vinyl while improving playback clarity.
The brush has an aluminum-covered silver grip attached to a black handle. The tip can be rotated inward toward the handle to protect the filaments when the brush is not in use, making it compact for storage. The unit is palm-sized for easy handling during turntable use and aligns with standard LP diameters for comfortable sweeping motions.
To clean the brush itself, slide or rotate the silver grip in and out of the black handle several times; this action helps shake off captured dust and debris from the carbon fiber bristles. For best results, use light, even strokes across the record surface and, when possible, provide a conductive path (for example, ensuring contact with the spindle) to allow static to drain away.
Pros
- Conductive carbon fiber reduces surface static
- Lightweight aluminum-covered grip for good control
- Foldable head protects bristles during storage
Cons
- Not a substitute for wet deep-cleaning
- May leave behind very fine lint or fuzz
- Some users report stiff or shedding bristles
VerdictA lightweight, easy-to-use anti-static brush that can reduce surface dust and electrical charge on records. Its conductive carbon fiber filaments and aluminum-covered grip are practical for routine dry cleaning and storage. Performance varies by how much embedded grime is present; it excels at removing loose particles and static but won't replace a wet deep-clean for heavily soiled discs. Overall

Brought my used records back to life
I picked up several secondhand LPs that my high-end turntable struggled with — one would start then jump to the end. Persistent dust was causing skips and audible problems. After using this brush the records played cleanly, like new.

Too harsh for delicate grooves
Bristles felt too firm on my collection and seemed to scratch or roughen some surfaces. I returned it — it made certain records sound worse rather than cleaner.

Simple, effective and practical
Exactly what it claims: uncomplicated, easy to operate and cheaper than wet/dry cleaning systems. Gets the job done for routine maintenance.

Leaves more fibers behind
When transferring records to digital this brush shed fibers onto the discs, making it hard to get a clean transfer. It deposited more material than it removed and became frustrating to use.

Works, but not as good as the originals
After a long break from buying LPs I bought this as a replacement for an older brush. It clears larger dust and hairs and does discharge surface static if you give the charge a path to ground. Expect modest results; it’s fine for minor static issues but won’t perform miracles.

Graffi sul vinile — Avoid
Rimuove ben poco e lascia graffi sul disco. Hardly removes debris and appears to scratch the vinyl. Avoid if you value your collection.

Good portable cleaner
Compact size and works for quick vinyl cleaning before play.

Underwhelming on fine debris
It removes some particles but misses many tiny fibers that tend to hop around. Cleaning the brush isn’t obvious and performance felt mediocre. Easy to use but not impressive; I wouldn’t recommend it for serious cleaning.
