Sharpie Retractable Highlighters — 8-Pack Chisel Tip Assortment
Product description
These retractable highlighters are designed for single-handed use: press to extend the chisel tip and press again to retract, so there’s no cap to lose and the tip stays protected when not in use.
The marker bodies are molded plastic with a firm fiber chisel tip that produces wide bands for emphasis and narrow lines for underlining. The tip width creates strokes suitable for both heavy highlighting and precise marking (approximate stroke range: 2–5 mm). The ink is a quick-drying, dye-based formulation intended to minimize smearing and keep pages clear.
Pack contents: eight retractable highlighters in assorted bright shades. Includes: Red, Fluorescent Pink, Fluorescent Orange, Fluorescent Yellow, Fluorescent Green, Blue Indigo, and Berry. They’re made for use on textbooks, planners, study cards, travel itineraries, and other everyday papers where visibility and clarity matter.
Pros
- Retractable one-handed operation
- Versatile chisel tip for wide and fine strokes
- Quick-drying, smear-resistant ink
Cons
- Limited color selection in the pack
- Some shades appear darker than expected
- Occasional shipping or refund delays reported
VerdictA reliable set for students and professionals who want bright, durable highlighters that won’t smear or dry out. The retractable clicker eliminates caps, the chisel tip handles both broad and fine strokes, and the quick-drying ink keeps pages clean. Ideal for organizing study materials, planners, and work documents, though the palette could be wider and a few shades run darker than expected.

Good product, frustrating delivery experience
The markers work well, but my first order never arrived though I was charged. After delays and a failed cancellation/refund, I reordered and finally received them—product excellent but the ordering process was rough.

Solid daily-use highlighters with one caveat
I use these every day on heavy textbooks and a medical manual. Click-open prevents drying, the chisel tip stays firm, and ink applies evenly without puddling or bleeding. I give four stars because one shade is darker than I expected.
