Two display modes in one piece: the board has an arched top with two pre-drilled holes so you can either rest it in the supplied pine base for a freestanding counter display or feed the included black jute rope through the holes to suspend it on a wall, doorway, or event entryway.
Both sides measure 9.8" × 14.4" and are finished in a matte black surface that works with traditional chalk and liquid chalk markers. A heavy-duty black metal spring clip spans the top edge so you can attach menus, flyers, kraft paper, or daily sheets without removing the board from its stand.
The solid pine base has two carved channels along its front face to keep chalk sticks, liquid markers, pencils, and small erasers neatly organized and within arm’s reach — ideal for busy counters or host stands where writing tools tend to wander.
The pine stand is torch-burned (yakisugi-style) to produce a charred wood grain, then sealed with clear lacquer for a unique rustic look that pairs with farmhouse, vintage, and industrial décor. Silicone foot pads on the base help prevent slipping and protect tabletops from scratches.

Highly versatile display piece
This board has become a favorite because it does more than just serve as a chalkboard — we also use it to display magnets and hang necklaces. The writing area is generous and the finish feels well made. Wiping it clean is simple, though a microfiber cloth works best because tiny particles can cling to the surface after cleaning. Clears easily and very handy

Worked brilliantly for a themed party

Marker removes without issue
I gave four stars because the support isn’t very tall. The board surface itself is great and I wish there were a built-in hanging hook. The included magnets are a nice bonus.
