Zep Inc. 128 oz House & Siding Wash Concentrate

Product description

This product is supplied as a single 128 fluid ounce bottle of liquid concentrate intended for cleaning house siding and other exterior surfaces. The concentrate dilutes to make up to 20 gallons of ready-to-use solution and lists coverage up to about 5,000 square feet from a full bottle under typical conditions.

Formulated as a concentrated liquid cleaner for exterior use, it is intended to break up dirt, grime and surface algae on siding and similar materials. The package contains the one bottle of concentrate; no additional tools or accessories are included.

To use, dilute the concentrate with water to create the working solution, apply it to the surface (sprayer, brush or similar applicator), allow a short dwell time as directed, then rinse thoroughly. Yield and number of applications will vary with soil level and application method; a single bottle provides multiple treatments for medium-sized jobs and can cover large surfaces or multiple smaller items like vehicles or RVs when diluted.

Pros

  • Concentrated formula stretches into many gallons
  • Covers large exterior areas per bottle
  • Effective on fresh dirt and surface algae

Cons

  • Less effective on deeply set or ingrained stains
  • May need repeat treatments for heavy buildup
  • Not formulated for delicate finishes without testing

VerdictA heavy-duty concentrate for routine exterior cleaning that stretches to cover large areas. It handles fresh dirt and light algae well and yields many gallons of working solution from a single 128 oz bottle. Expect good value for common cleaning jobs, though stubborn, set-in stains may require stronger treatments or repeat applications.
