17-Pack Clear Single-Sided Cat Furniture Protectors
Product description
What’s included
- 17 clear adhesive sheets: nine pieces sized 14.1 x 11 inches and eight pieces sized 14.1 x 6 inches.
- A small supply of twist pins for extra anchoring when needed.
Materials and design
- Thin transparent plastic film with a single-sided sticky backing that adheres to most furniture surfaces, including leather. The adhesive is described as gentler than some competitors but engineered for reliable hold.
- The transparent finish keeps the protectors discreet so the look of furniture is largely preserved.
How it’s used
- Peel the backing and press the sticky side onto areas prone to scratching: armrests, cushions, chair backs, or door screens. The sheets can be trimmed for a custom fit.
- Twist pins are included for use on long-fiber fabrics or where extra security is desired; many users find the adhesive alone is sufficient.
- When removed, the film is designed to lift off without leaving residue or damaging most finishes.
Care and cautions
- Intended for smooth or common upholstery materials; not recommended for velvet, faux or already-cracked surfaces where adhesion or removal could cause harm.
- Test a small, inconspicuous area first if you’re unsure how a surface will react.
Pros
- Transparent and minimally visible on most furniture
- Includes two sheet sizes and twist pins for flexible coverage
- Gentler adhesive that still provides strong hold
Cons
- Can be torn by very determined adult cats
- Peeling the film from the paper backing can be fiddly
- Not suitable for velvet, faux fabrics, cracked finishes or painted walls
VerdictThese clear, single-sided protectors offer an easy, low-profile way to shield sofas, chairs and screens from feline scratching. The adhesive is formulated to grip well without being aggressively harsh, and the transparent film blends into most furniture. Installation is straightforward and removal leaves no sticky residue. They’re a solid option for light- to moderate-scratching cats and a conveni

Easy to apply and barely noticeable
I installed a sheet today and was impressed with how smooth it went on — no bubbles and almost invisible on my upholstery. The backing has a tiny seam to lift so removing it isn’t as hard as some others made it seem. I’ll update after a few days, but so far I’m very pleased.

Damaged painted walls
I used these on a painted wall and they pulled paint off when removed. Do not apply to walls or freshly painted surfaces.

Does the job better than alternatives I tried
Fits well and stays put. The thickness is just right and once placed it doesn’t gleam or call attention to itself. Comes in enough pieces to cover several furniture items in two useful sizes. I’d reorder if needed.

Better design than pricier version I had
Smaller sheets are easier to size and the paper backing has room to mark measurements. They’re single-sided so you won’t stick two surfaces together. Peeling the film from the backing took patience; a damp Q‑tip helped loosen the corner.

Sticks well and feels substantial
These are pleasantly thick and the adhesive has held strong for several weeks. A different brand I tried peeled off quickly, but these have stayed put and lived up to expectations.

Simple to use and unobtrusive
Much easier to handle than an older product I owned. The single-sided adhesive sits flat and is nearly invisible. I also applied one to the patio door screen and the cats could see through it, so it didn’t spook them. I haven’t needed the twist pins.

Worked well while watching a destructive cat
I used these while pet-sitting a cat known to shred fabric. They conformed to my couch without cutting, and though the sheets showed scratch marks, the upholstery underneath was untouched. I did use the pins on corduroy just to be safe.

Not a match for a bold adult scratcher
My cat ripped through these almost immediately. They tore like thin paper and didn’t deter him, though they do adhere tightly to the fabric. Easy to apply, a little tricky to remove from the backing, but ineffective against a determined biter/scratcher.
