Adjustable Car Cup Holder Expander — 2-Pack for Large Bottles & Mugs
Product description
What’s included: a pair of adjustable car cup holder expanders and two stackable spacers that each add about 1" of height. The set is intended to expand standard cup holders to securely hold wide-diameter bottles and mugs.
Fit and size: Each expander accepts bottles and mugs with diameters between approximately 3.4" and 4.0". The expandable base uses a three-ring system that adjusts from roughly 2.5" up to 3.75" for a firm fit in a range of factory cup wells.
Design and materials: The expander body is molded plastic with integrated silicone grip rings on the base to prevent slipping or glued-on failures in hot cars. There’s a purpose-built handle slot so coffee mugs with handles can sit flush and stable.
Adjustability and use: The top twists while holding the base to expand or retract the rings — two simple steps and a few seconds is all it takes. An offset feature lets you shift the expander away from the centerline so an adjacent cup holder remains usable, and the included spacers increase stack height for recessed or covered cup wells.
Compatibility: Designed to accommodate popular tumblers and bottles including Yeti Ramblers (14/24/36/46oz), Hydro Flask (32/40oz), and similar brands such as RTIC, Nalgene, CamelBak, and many household mugs. Works in many vehicles, from small cars to SUVs, though very tall or extremely wide bottles may still exceed the expander’s limits.
Pros
- Adjusts to fit a wide range of bottle diameters
- Built-in silicone grip rings prevent slipping
- Includes spacers and handle slot for mugs
Cons
- Adds height that can interfere with dash-mounted holders
- May not accept very large oversized flasks
- Some users report loosening over long-term use
VerdictA practical, easy-to-install solution for drivers who use large bottles or coffee mugs. The two-piece expanders grip wide-diameter containers reliably thanks to built-in silicone traction and a 3-ring expandable base. Offset capability and included spacers make it adaptable to shallow or recessed cup wells, while the mug handle slot accepts handled cups. It won’t fit extremely tall setups where ad

Solid initially but durability concerns
Worked great at first with my 46oz Yeti, but the expander loosened over time and needed retightening. One base clip eventually broke. Useful, but I wish it lasted longer.

Offset and handle slot are useful
The offset feature and handle cutout were exactly what I needed. My Nalgene 32oz and Yeti mug sit tightly in the car’s holders.

Handles rough roads with no movement
Excellent stability — my 40oz Yeti didn’t budge after 220 km on corrugated roads. Really impressed.

Great fit in my 2025 Honda Civic
Installed in my Civic's factory cup holder with no issues. My large bottle fits well and it even accommodates my Samsung Fold 8 that was too wide for the original holder.

Very sturdy
Holds a large bottle and stays put even when the bottle is removed. Includes extra attachments if you need them.

Perfect for using a mug
Doesn’t hold coffee by itself — you must put a filled cup into it. Learned that the hard way, but it works flawlessly as a mug cradle. 5/5.

Solid purchase
Very simple to set up and holds large water bottles without wobbling. Sturdy construction and performs as expected. Highly recommend.

Height and width can be limiting
Expands diameter fine, but in dash-mounted holders the extra height makes tall cups hit the windshield and sit unevenly. Also too wide to place two side-by-side in some consoles.

Holds my 32 and 40oz bottles perfectly
Easy to install and grips both my 32oz and 40oz bottles tightly. Leaves room for someone else’s 24oz in the adjacent holder. Feels durable — just what I needed.

Works for most bottles, not the biggest
Performs well for typical bottles but won’t accept my oversized Stanley. Fits securely in the car and keeps smaller cups snug — just not for the very largest flasks.

Finally, my 46oz fits
Very happy — my 46oz Yeti Rambler sits perfectly in my truck and no longer rolls around. Great relief.

Does the job, bought a second
Fits snugly in my original cup holder and keeps my 40oz thermoflask secure while driving. Easy to remove and I purchased another for my daughter.
