Bamboo Roll-Up Window Shades — Natural Light-Filtering Blinds
Product description
Simple DIY installation: Each shade arrives with all the mounting hardware needed for most standard windows and doors so you can hang them yourself without specialist tools. The brackets and hooks are included and the package is designed to make setup straightforward for one person.
Crafted from natural bamboo: The shades are woven from high-quality bamboo slats, so each panel shows unique grain, color shifts, and knot characteristics. Those irregularities are inherent to the material and give each shade an authentic, organic look rather than a factory-uniform finish.
Suitable settings and use: These roll-up shades work well in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, home offices, restaurants, hotels, tea rooms, and on terraces or covered balconies. They gently filter daylight to create a cozy atmosphere while allowing some visibility through the weave.
Light control and protection: The design softens incoming sun to reduce glare and heat without creating full blackout conditions. Although they can be used outdoors in protected areas, prolonged direct exposure to water or heavy rain will shorten their lifespan, so keep them under awnings or other cover.
Sizing and support: Standard widths and lengths are offered, and custom-made sizes are available if your opening requires special dimensions. Customer support is available to help with sizing queries, ensuring a proper fit for doors and windows of various shapes and sizes.

Helps with sunset glare on my balcony
Installed these on my balcony that faces the sunset and they significantly reduce heat and glare. For very wide lengths I recommend an extra pair of hands during installation. The black color I chose blocks light well and stands up to windy conditions.

Happy with the look and price
First time with bamboo shades and I like them a lot. The top wood matched my decor, though installation was awkward for me since I’m short. I temporarily unwound the cords and struggled, but after figuring it out they work perfectly. Good value and recommend.

Perfect for blocking porch sun
These shades transformed my front porch—morning sun used to make it impossible to sit out, now it’s comfortable all day. Installation was quick and did by one person in about ten minutes. They feel lightweight but sturdy and have also kept some rain spray away.

Classic matchstick style
I was after old-school matchstick blinds and these matched that look perfectly. They recreate the familiar style and work well layered with curtains or over existing blinds for a different ambiance.

Great solution for French doors
Finally a shade that fits my door window. I had previously hung a curtain that looked messy; this covers the glass neatly and even slips behind the door handle. The weave feels substantial, the cord works smoothly, and the included hardware and instructions made hanging simple.

Color variation made mine look marred
I returned mine because the slat coloration looked like dark marks rather than natural variation. If you prefer uniform finish, be aware the bamboo grain can appear irregular.
