Handy compact kit for our tackle box
This kit lives in our fishing bag — it’s small, bright and easy to spot. The grippers handled a nearly 4 lb bass without slipping, and the backlit display was clear and matched the weigh-in. Lightweight but effective; I’m very pleased and would recommend it.

Sturdy handling, practical functions
The handle and body feel durable and the scale read accurately against my spring scale. The stainless hook is strong but the shallow recess for storing it doesn’t hold it in place, so it can fall out. Tare and bright backlight are useful features that work well.

Excellent gripper, scale has room to improve
The lip gripper is well shaped and locks tightly, holding fish securely and floating if dropped. The scale itself works but the steel hook requires puncturing to use, which is less desirable; I’d prefer a gripper-compatible weighing method. The built-in ruler is a neat idea but could be more usable.
