Radiolink AT10II 12CH 2.4GHz RC Transmitter with R12DS Receiver
Product description
Overview
The Radiolink AT10II bundle ships with the AT10II 12-channel 2.4GHz transmitter, an R12DS 12-channel receiver, and the PRM-01 telemetry module (PRM-03 telemetry module is available separately). The transmitter uses combined DSSS & FHSS communications and is fitted with a 7 dBi high-gain antenna to maximize signal stability and range — Radiolink rates the airborne range at approximately 2.5 miles (4 km).
Telemetry and compatibility
When paired with the included PRM-01, the radio can display aircraft battery voltage on the transmitter screen. With the optional PRM-03 module and a compatible flight controller such as CrossFlight APM, Pixhawk or Mini Pix, the AT10II can show telemetry like battery voltage, speed, altitude, RSSI, distance and other flight data in real time on its 3.5" LCD.
Controls and features
The AT10II offers 12 channels, battery voltage telemetry, RSSI alerts, dual and triple rates, throttle lock, failsafe configuration, end point adjustment (EPA), switch customization and channel mixing. The menus are split into basic and advanced modes to suit different users; binding to Radiolink receivers is straightforward and typically requires no extra configuration to establish a link.
Construction and form factor
The transmitter is housed in a rugged ABS plastic case with conventional gimbals and tactile switches. The display is a 3.5" LCD mounted on the front panel for clear telemetry readouts and audible/visual alarms (RSSI alerts, low-voltage warnings and failsafe notifications). The package is designed for aircraft use — fixed-wing, multirotor and helicopter applications.
Usage notes
Setups for elevon, flaps, trims and mixes are supported in the advanced menus. Telemetry requires the PRM-01 (included) or PRM-03 (sold separately) and a compatible receiver/flight controller to report flight data. Binding is plug-and-play with Radiolink receivers; take care when fitting batteries because the transmitter uses a two-pin battery connector without a locking latch on some units.
Pros
- Long-range DSSS & FHSS link with 7 dBi antenna
- On-screen telemetry (3.5" LCD) and RSSI alerts
- Extensive channel mixes and switch customization
Cons
- Proprietary firmware (no openTX support)
- Two-pin battery connector can lack a locking latch
- Manufacturer support and updates can be limited
VerdictThis transmitter/receiver package delivers strong RF performance and a rich telemetry feature set for aircraft, multirotors and helicopters. The DSSS/FHSS link and high-gain antenna produce robust range and signal stability; onboard telemetry and the 3.5" display make in-flight data handy. The user interface is approachable for newcomers while offering advanced options for experienced flyers. Down

Works great for RC trucks
I use this transmitter for my Tamiya RC trucks. It performs well and I’ve recommended it to friends so I can program their units for them.

Crashes after storage, firmware update didn't help
It worked fine initially but after sitting unused it failed to boot one day. I tried updating the firmware and it didn’t fix the crash. Support was unresponsive, so I’m planning to move to another brand and replace several receivers.

Exactly what I needed
Matched my needs perfectly and the setup was quick and painless.

Very good for helicopter use
Both transmitter and receiver performed well on a helicopter with no signal loss during flights. Good overall value and reliable operation.

Good starter unit for drone pilots
Nice product for beginners with decent range. The sticks feel solid; precision is acceptable for learning and recreational flying. I use it primarily for drones.

Serviceable radio but limited firmware
The radio is easy to use, but it doesn’t run open-source firmware like openTX. The built-in software is simple and works, but mixing options are limited compared to open platforms (about four linear channels and two curve slots). It binds easily to Radiolink receivers and telemetry is reliable, even at very close ranges — handy for indoor models.

Stable on the bench but battery connector worried me
I compared signal timing on a scope and ran five high-current JR servos on the bench — the transmitter remained stable and servos didn’t interfere. I was impressed by the performance for the cost, but the two-pin battery connector has no latch and can pop out, which risks battery disconnect. A three-pin NiMH-style connector with a latch would be safer; I won’t use LiPo packs until I address the connector.

Very intuitive, flew my Cub perfectly
First time using it and setup was quick — binding was simple and I configured flaps and two switches without the manual. Flew my PA18 Cub multiple times with the included 12-channel R12DS and experienced excellent response. I’ve used high-end brands in the past but this unit impressed me enough to order two more receivers. Highly recommended for its ease of use, overall functionality and solid feel.

Excellent reception and very smooth gimbals
Reception matched or exceeded other systems during ground and long-range tests; I flew until the aircraft was out of sight and still had full bars. The screen shows signal strength and pack voltages in flight. Gimbals feel smoother than some competitors, setup is straightforward and the functions cover planes, multirotors and helis. Great for FPV with a low response latency.

Solid alternative to other brands
Better range than some competitors and lower cost than others. It performs well on both my drone and a plane, setup is simple, the LiPo input range is broad and elevon setup was the easiest I’ve used. Gimbals are impressively smooth in flight.
