Jasenna 8-Hole Soprano Recorder Kit with Case and Cleaning Rod
Product description
Made from food-grade ABS resin, this 8-hole soprano (descant) recorder is non-toxic, lightweight, and waterproof. The plastic construction resists dents and moisture, so it stands up to regular practice and casual handling. The instrument is built to be comfortable for young players while remaining durable enough for multiple users.
The recorder delivers a warm, clear tone with balanced high and low registers. Its tuning is stable enough for classroom ensembles as well as solo practice, and many beginner players and school programs accept it for standard lessons and performances. The design produces a melodious sound that’s approachable for novice musicians.
Manufacturing quality is focused on beginner reliability: each unit is tested for accurate pitch and clear articulation, undergoing multiple inspections during production to ensure consistent performance. The 8-hole fingering layout is straightforward, so new students can pick up basic melodies quickly and develop technique without frustration.
The package provides everything a beginner needs to start: a soprano recorder, a fingering chart to guide learning, a cleaning rod for maintenance, and a leather-style carrying case for storage and transport. These accessories make it easy to keep the instrument clean and protected between lessons.
This recorder also makes a practical gift for someone starting music education. It’s suitable for school use, home practice, and casual performances, offering good value for families seeking a reliable, easy-to-play wind instrument.

Detaches for cleaning—don’t panic
If a section separates, it’s designed to come apart for cleaning, not broken. Needed a new one for my child’s music class and didn’t want an expensive option—this works well.

Practical replacement for school-issued recorder
My 9-year-old needed a replacement because the school instrument was chewed up. This one is a great bargain. The little case is adorable, it's simple to play and learn, and the tone is about what you'd expect from a student recorder.

Pretty retro look
Feels just like the recorder I learned on years ago, only in a prettier color.

Bring a cloth if you want one
It included the cleaning rod but not the little cloth to dry the mouthpiece; another model I bought did. Otherwise build quality is good, the case is handy, price is fair, and it sounds right.

Perfect for elementary music class
Bought for a fourth grader because the school-issued ones had a pale finish. She liked it immediately and several classmates asked where she got it.

Comfortable and kid-approved
My daughter adores it—she says it’s pretty and easier on her fingers than the school model. I was doubtful at first, but she insists this one is more comfortable. Good build and sound, and it’s survived daily use by a busy 4th grader.

Great for at-home practice
My 9-year-old hasn’t put it down since we opened it. They’re learning in class, so I grabbed one for home practice and she uses online tutorials constantly to learn more.
