TESSAN Travel Voltage Converter 220V→110V with International Adapters
Product description
What’s included
This kit ships with one detachable power cord and three international plug adapters — Type C, Type G and Type I — so you can use the unit across many regions including most of continental Europe, Italy, Spain, Iceland, Portugal, Greece, the UK and Ireland, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
Conversion modes and indicators
The unit provides two operating modes. In converter mode (red indicator), it automatically reduces 220–240V AC (50/60Hz) down to 110V (60Hz) with a maximum conversion capacity of 2000W. In adapter mode (green indicator) the output reads 100–140V with a maximum rated load of 1120W. Lights show which mode is active so you can confirm operation at a glance.
Ports and charging capacity
This 6-in-1 travel power device includes two grounded AC outlets, two USB-C ports rated at 3A each and two USB-A ports at 2.4A each. The published aggregate USB output is 17W max and the design supports charging up to six items at the same time — examples include hair dryers, curling irons, laptops and cameras when used within the stated wattage limits.
Design, size and safety features
The unit is built with a compact, travel-friendly housing (approximately 3.15 × 1.93 × 2.17 inches) and operates quietly. It incorporates overload, overcurrent and short-circuit protections to guard connected devices. Be aware: the AC outlets are intended for simple mechanical motors and higher-wattage appliances, and they are not suitable for very low-wattage items (0–5W) such as some electric shavers or toothbrushes. Always review the safety instructions for each device before plugging in.
Pros
- Multiple AC and USB ports to charge several devices
- Two conversion modes handling up to 2000W for suitable appliances
- Built-in overload/overcurrent/short-circuit protection
Cons
- Not appropriate for very low-wattage shavers or toothbrushes (0–5W)
- Some users have reported heating or device failure with certain appliances
- Detachable cable may be shorter than desired for widely spaced outlets
VerdictThis travel converter assembles a useful set of plugs and outputs for international travel: a removable cable with three slide-on adapters, selectable conversion modes with indicator lights, two AC outlets and four USB ports. It’s handy for charging phones, cameras and many grooming tools and laptops, and its protection circuitry adds a layer of safety. However, it’s not ideal for tiny 0–5W shaver

Essential for UK trips
Took this to the UK where mains are 240V. It stepped the voltage down safely so our American gadgets were protected and charged phones and an e-reader without problems.

Did the job in the Netherlands and Germany
Converted 220V to 110V so my parents could use their electric grooming tools during our trip. The removable cord and slide-on adapter gave us useful flexibility for reach.

Mostly great, one overheating straightener
Appreciated the AC and USB-C/A ports. My dual-voltage straightener worked but hummed and the handle warmed near the cord — it didn’t burn out, but felt hot. Next time I’ll pack a smaller tool and a longer cable.

Failed to protect a 110V device in Iceland
Compact and travel-friendly, but it apparently didn’t step 230V down correctly for my water flosser in Iceland. The flosser ran briefly then stopped working; the unit did power other dual-voltage items afterward. I won’t rely on it for critical conversion.
