Compatibility and fit
This set is made specifically for the iPhone 17 Pro and is not intended as a universal film. Each glass panel has a 3D curved-edge profile to match the phone’s super-ceramic front with a curvature radius of 4.5 mm, yielding roughly 99.9% coverage so there are no visible white or black borders. It’s engineered to work with about 95% of iPhone 17 Pro cases available, minimizing the common film-vs-case conflict.
Oleophobic coating and cleanliness
The glass uses a nano-oleophobic surface layer certified by SGS to reduce fingerprint and oil buildup. Independent testing figures show a major reduction in visible fingerprint residue after oil application and three wipes (reported reduction to about 6% visible residue versus roughly 78% on ordinary films). The oleophobic layer retains integrity after prolonged friction testing (5,000 cycles) with around 98% remaining compared with typical films that fall to 60–70%. Each protector passes 20 production inspections and uniformity of the coating is claimed to reach 99.7%. A dedicated cleaning kit is included to boost the coating’s activation by a reported 20%.
Touch response and conductance
To preserve the original touchscreen feel, an ITO conductive layer at the nano scale is used to improve conductive efficiency by about 40%, producing a near-instant response (advertised as ultrafast, around 0.01s). That is positioned as roughly three times faster than ordinary films (commonly near 0.03s), providing full touch coverage without dead zones and keeping edge false touches below 0.1%. In small user tests, input speed increased by about 15% (from 60 to 69 words per minute) due to improved responsiveness.
Hardness, clarity and wear resistance
Manufactured to a 9H Mohs hardness level, the tempered glass improves scratch and impact resistance compared with softer films (3–6H). It withstands repeated key/knife contact testing with minimal surface damage where ordinary films would show scratches after far fewer strikes. After extensive abrasion testing (500 cycles with 800-grit sandpaper), light transmittance reportedly declines only about 2% versus 15–20% for common films. Optical transmittance is listed at 99.9% with professional colorimetric readings showing ΔE<1 for accurate color reproduction.
Installation and removal
The pack includes an alignment guide frame to simplify placement; manufacturing data indicates an offset rate under 1% and a high first-try success rate for new users. Removal is designed to be fast and residue-free, taking only a few seconds in typical cases and using an eco-friendly, glue-free adhesive that passed RoHS testing. The product has been tested through multiple removal cycles without damaging the screen or the protector’s coating.
