Ultra-thin construction. This MagSafe-compatible phone ring grip is designed to be significantly smaller and slimmer than standard grips while remaining fully functional. The profile cuts down on bulk so it sits nearly flat against the phone and slides easily into pockets or wallets.
Magnetic system. The accessory houses 24 N56 neodymium magnets arranged to align with MagSafe. The manufacturer rates the magnetic hold at up to 6.6 lbs (3 kg), intended to keep phones secure while walking, cycling or shooting handheld footage.
Living-hinge body. The rotating finger ring uses an impact copolymer polypropylene (PP) living-hinge inspired by flip-top handles. That construction allows the grip to be about 60% thinner than many competitors and is specified to survive over 30,000 flex cycles without cracking, reducing hand strain during one-handed use.
Durable hinge and stand function. A high-performance zinc alloy hinge provides the flip-and-stand capability and is tested to endure more than 50,000 folds without loosening. The hinge flips smoothly into a desk stand in about a second and supports adjustable viewing between 0° and 180° for video calls, media and quick recording.
Compatibility and extras. It’s made to work with iPhone 18/17/Air/16/15/14/13/12 series — including Pro, Pro Max and Plus models — and with MagSafe cases. For non‑MagSafe phones or cases the package includes two metal adapter rings that can increase magnetic effectiveness up to 5× when applied correctly.
Surface guidance for adapters. The metal adapter rings must be adhered to a flat, hard case surface for best bonding. Avoid using them on soft materials such as TPU, silicone, TPE or PP, and do not apply to coatings with strong elasticity, non-stick paints or textured finishes where adhesive strength may be unreliable.
Warranty and support. The product ships with a 36-month warranty and direct manufacturer support available around the clock for assistance and replacements.
Wireless charging reminder. The ring grip does not support wireless charging while attached. The design allows easy removal so you can place the phone on a wireless charger and reattach the grip afterward.

Stand still works, but the grip broke
I bought this in April and loved it for months, but by September the center piece I used to hold the phone snapped and I couldn’t grip my phone comfortably anymore. The stand feature still functions fine. EDIT: Customer service was fast and helpful and they’re sending a replacement.

Surprisingly thin with a secure hold
I wondered if it would work with my Razr Ultra foldable — it does. I wanted something minimal and light that still serves as a stable stand; this ring fits that need. I placed a MagSafe magnet on the lower half of the phone and the N56 array gripped firmly. The finger ring is comfortable for one-handed use, and after daily use for about a month it hasn’t shown issues despite feeling fragile at first.

Fantastic magnet, but it detached a few times
When it stayed attached I loved how thin and functional it was, but it fell off intermittently and eventually went missing. I couldn’t return it and I’m disappointed to be without the ring. If the manufacturer replaces it I’ll update, but the unpredictable detachment was frustrating.

Low-profile look, rock-solid MagSafe connection
Paired the grey ring with my Spigen teardown case and the finish looks great. The MagSafe attachment is rigid with no wobble, and it folds almost flat so it won’t snag in a pocket. The rotation mechanism is pleasantly stiff and holds set positions, making it a reliable kickstand for both vertical reading and landscape viewing.

Compact, light and surprisingly sturdy
This grip is slim and lightweight yet feels sturdy in use. The magnetic connection seems strong and 360° rotation makes it easy to adjust for photos and videos. The hinge flips smoothly and the stand function is handy. Remember to remove it before wireless charging — otherwise a great, practical design.

Excellent replacement for a discontinued model
I bought this as a successor to a discontinued DesertWest ring on 2024-03-21 and I’m very satisfied. The leather-like outer I had before is missing here, but the overall feel and function are almost identical. The hinge has the right stiffness and rotation is smooth; the magnet is strong and the warranty gives peace of mind. I fully recommend it.

Slim and tight hinge, center feels delicate
Very slim overall with a tight, well-calibrated hinge. The magnet performs well on both sides. My only worry is the central pop-socket piece — it feels thin and could break under stress. It might last, but I wouldn’t trust pulling the entire grip off by that piece.

Nearly perfect — I absolutely love it
What I enjoy: it’s extremely thin and pocket-friendly; the ring rotates 360° and works as a vertical or horizontal prop; the magnet is strong and the size is ideal for my iPhone 17 Pro Max. Installation was easy. Minor downsides: the pop-socket takes a little practice to open with a fingernail, and the mesh backing (plastic) eventually cracked for me after months. Customer support honored the warranty quickly.

Powerful magnet and handy 3-in-1 design
If you need a grip that won’t fail on larger phones, this one performs very well. It’s more than a ring — it’s a functional upgrade with a secure magnetic hold, comfortable edges and a pocket-friendly profile. Works nicely with MagSafe cases like mine.

Not stable enough for video recording setups
If your main use is recording stationary video, be cautious: the unit is light and can shift or wobble with even small disturbances. I attached a small phone and it moved with nearby vibrations, so it didn’t meet my expectations for a stable video platform. Better suited for handheld or selfie-stick style use. (26/11/2022)

A superb selfie-stick and tripod alternative
Bought this for a family holiday to capture landscapes without leaving anyone out of the frame. It doubles well as a small tripod and is light yet stable. I appreciated the MagSafe compatibility — it makes mounting the phone quick and secure. Overall the build feels solid and the magnet holds firmly.
