Low-Back Folding Marine Boat Seats — 2-Pack Deluxe

Product description

What you get: a pair of low-back folding boat seats supplied as a 2-pack, ready to bolt to any standard pedestal or base with a 5 inch by 5 inch mounting bolt pattern. Each seat is pedestal-mountable and includes the four locking screws that run in slots beneath the seat for secure attachment.

Comfort and padding: each chair is packed with thickened ultra-high-density sponge that recovers well and follows the body’s contour. The backrest is gently curved and the seat base is widened to distribute weight evenly, helping reduce fatigue during long periods of sitting on the water.

Exterior materials: the upholstery is heavy-duty marine-grade vinyl built to withstand exposure to moisture and abrasive use. The surface is waterproof, easy to wipe clean, and finished with tight stitching aimed at resisting fraying or splits over time.

Frame and hinges: a high-impact plastic frame forms the structural base and supports up to 250 pounds per seat. Rust-resistant aluminum alloy hinges allow the backrest to fold flat for compact storage; those same hinges are designed to prevent the back from bending under load.

Practical features: each seat includes a tie-down strap to keep the backrest secured when folded, plus removable plastic corner pads that protect both the seat and mounting surface during installation. The design fits most common rotary joints and bases used in bass and jon boats.

Pros

  • Ergonomic foam and wider seat for comfort
  • Waterproof marine vinyl with reinforced stitching
  • Folds flat and mounts on standard 5x5 pedestals

Cons

  • Limited back height for extended lumbar support
  • Plastic frame may feel less rigid than metal options
  • Mounting hardware assumes compatible pedestal availability

VerdictA practical two-seat set for small boats and fishing applications. Comfortable ergonomic foam and a widened seat deliver better support for long stints; durable marine vinyl and a reinforced frame handle wet, rough use. Easy to fold, install on a standard 5x5 pedestal, and store on board.
