WorkEZ Foldable Adjustable Laptop Stand for Desk and Bed — Aluminum Panel
Product description
What you get: a foldable laptop stand with a vented aluminum work panel, adjustable articulated legs that span roughly a 16-inch range, and small edge clips to help keep larger laptops from sliding forward.
Construction and materials: the main surface is a perforated aluminum panel that encourages airflow and helps keep computers cool without any fans or power. The support structure uses molded plastic joints and ABS components at pivot points, while the legs and resting edges are aluminum to balance weight and strength.
Dimensions and adjustment: the stand raises a computer approximately 2 inches at its lowest setting and extends up to about 18 inches at maximum, with the legs opening across roughly 16 inches of travel. The panel can be tilted up to 15 degrees to reduce glare and place the keyboard at a more ergonomic angle.
How it’s used: set it high on a desk to lift a laptop toward eye level, lower and spread the legs for a stable bed or couch setup, or position it flat for reading a book or holding a tablet. The vented panel prevents heat from building against blankets and cushions, and the collapsible design lets the unit fold flat for slide-in storage or to carry in a bag.
Portability and care: the stand is lightweight so it’s easy to move between workstations, living room and bedroom. Because many adjustment points are plastic, avoid dropping or catching the legs on furniture edges and close the joints gently when collapsing for travel.
Extras: the broad panel also supports textbooks and tablets, turning the product into a reading or display stand in addition to its role as a laptop riser.
Pros
- Wide height range and tilt for ergonomic positioning
- Vented aluminum surface cools laptops passively
- Folds flat and is lightweight for easy transport
Cons
- Adjustment joints use plastic and can feel loose
- Front clips and hinges may be vulnerable to rough handling
- Finding the ideal angle can require several adjustments
VerdictA versatile, lightweight aluminum laptop stand that improves posture and cooling by lifting and tilting screens. It works well on desks, sofas and in bed, folding flat for transport. The hinge and adjustment mechanisms are mostly plastic, so handle them carefully — they let you dial in many positions but can feel loose over time. Overall a practical, portable solution for typing, reading and media

Works great for aligning laptops with monitors
Does exactly what I needed to line my laptop up with my work monitors. Reliable and simple to adjust.

Very handy and highly adjustable, with one durability caveat
I’ve relied on this stand for years and it’s been very useful and portable. The many adjustment options are great but the joints are fairly loose; I accidentally caught a leg on a table edge and one broke off—those swivel joints are more plastic than metal. Despite that I’m buying another because it survived heavy travel and frequent use until then.

Exactly what I wanted — lightweight and simple
A friend showed me theirs and I liked it immediately. It’s light, easy to set up and works well on a bed or desk. It’s convenient to move around and would be a nice gift for someone who uses a laptop a lot.

Sturdy overall, but can take work to get the perfect angle
I used this while confined to bed and it held up well, even with a 15.6" gaming laptop. It comes with clips to keep bigger machines from sliding. The many joints mean there are lots of positions, but not every configuration fits every posture, so I switched between two set-ups depending on how upright I felt.

Solid performer, but my used purchase arrived damaged
The stand itself is robust and handled my large gaming laptop without much flex. However I ordered a used-like-new unit that arrived with dents, a paint nick and broken plastic clips. If you get a pristine item it seems worth the cost, but check condition on arrival.

Five-star utility for books, tablets and laptops
Fantastic for getting the right angle and height for reading. The panel and legs are aluminum so it’s very lightweight; the hinges are ABS plastic so handle with some care.

This is the best bed stand I’ve tried. It transforms easily into different setups and raises a laptop to eye level on a table. It also works with monitors and is very adaptable.

Lightweight and practical away from the desk
It’s light but not flimsy — a useful product for working outside a conventional desk setup.

Extremely configurable and fits larger chairs
I planned to use this with an under-desk elliptical and for keyboard stability while my legs move. It fits my recliner well and leaves ample room between the support arms. The many configuration options make it very versatile for my size and setup.

Mismatched product dimensions and refund hassle
The listed measurements were misleading for my intended use; the height only reached what I needed in certain setups. I returned the item but the seller delayed issuing a credit until a later date despite an earlier return shipment. That customer service experience was frustrating.
