XL Charcoal Puppy Training Pads — Heavy-Duty 24 x 24, 100 Count
Product description
What’s included and size
This package contains 100 disposable training pads sized 24 x 24 inches (extra-large square). Each pad is intended for single use and is sized to cover a larger indoor potty zone, crate floor, or carrier base.
Materials and construction
Pads are built with a quilted, fast-absorbing top layer that pulls moisture away from paws and fur to reduce tracking. Underneath is a multi-layer absorbent core designed to lock in liquids, plus an activated carbon layer intended to help reduce urine odor. The outer perimeter has reinforced, leak-resistant edges to help contain accidents on floors, rugs, and inside crates.
How to use
Place a pad where you want your dog to eliminate — in an indoor potty area, crate, kennel, carrier, mudroom, or entryway. Replace single-use pads as needed and fold and discard after soiling to keep the space fresh without washing bedding. For large-breed dogs or heavy output, consider overlapping pads or placing them side-by-side to increase coverage.
Typical applications
These pads are suitable for puppy potty training, travel stays and overnight use, senior dogs with reduced mobility, temporary indoor confinement during bad weather, and multi-pet households where accidents are more likely. The extra-large square format gives wider coverage for larger dogs or areas with more traffic.
Care notes
Keep spare pads on hand for quick swaps after meals, naps or long indoor stretches. Pads may slide on smooth flooring—placing a non-slip mat or tray underneath can help keep them in place for reliable use.

VerdictThese XL charcoal training pads offer strong initial odor control and rapid surface absorption thanks to a quilted top and an activated carbon layer. The multi-layer core locks in moisture for most small- to medium-dog uses and works well as a crate or carrier liner. Some users report thinner sheets and occasional leaks with very large volumes, and the pads can shift on slick floors, so they’re be

Very absorbent for my Yorkie
My 3-year-old Yorkie uses these consistently. They soak up urine quickly, don’t leave telltale rings, and control odor well. I still sanitize the area when I change them, but no puddles reach the floor.

Durable and strong odor control for big dogs
I have a very large dog and needed pads that hold up and limit smell. These handled heavy wetting without giving off odor and cleanup was straightforward. Tip: position the pad so the dog aims center-spot. I’ll keep these on hand for travel and house use.

Disappointed — liquid pools and slips off
I have a small dog and expected these to contain small volumes. Instead the liquid sat on top and slipped off when I picked the pad up, which defeated the purpose. Not for me.

Handled an overnight emergency
My small Jack-Chi had an accident while I slept. I placed two pads side-by-side since he turns while going, and they contained the mess without soaking through. Worked well for a one-off incident.

Dependable longtime option
I’ve used these pads for years. The color hides staining and the odor control works for my chihuahua while I’m at work. Absorbency has been reliable and they come in multiple sizes to suit different needs.

Material seems thinner than before
I’ve used these for a decade, but recent batches feel noticeably thinner and less absorbent. They’re okay for light traffic at the door but not as reliable for heavier use. I’ll be trying alternatives.

Not suited for large-breed dogs
Doesn’t hold the large volumes my lab produces. The leakproof edges failed to stop seepage. Possibly fine for small dogs, but not for heavy output.

Above-average performance but imperfect
These perform better than many other pads I’ve tried, though they may leak slightly with very large amounts. Good general-use pad with minor limitations.

No noticeable smell — great for training
These pads have virtually no odor after use and have been helpful during puppy training. I would recommend them for that purpose.

Flimsy and not absorbent enough
These were the worst pads I’ve tried. My dog avoided them and they didn’t absorb as advertised. Felt flimsy and ineffective. Wouldn’t recommend.

Too small and too slippery for my dog
They lack size for my pet and move around on smooth floors. Although odor control is fine, the pads slide too much to be reliable for us.

My preferred pad for appearance and function
I stick with this brand because the gray color conceals stains and the pads are very absorbent. They’ve performed well for my needs.
