200-Piece 58mm Button Maker Supply Kit — Metal Badge Parts
Product description
Compatibility and sizing: These components are intended for use with most 58mm button maker machines (roughly 2.25–2.28 inches). The dimensions are tailored to fit standard 58mm dies so you can use them with common badge presses without modification.
What’s in the pack: The kit contains 200 metal shells (fronts), 200 metal back covers with attached pin stems, 200 clear PVC protective films, and 200 blank round papers ready for printing or cutting. Each element is supplied in matching quantities so you have a complete set for producing 200 finished badges.
Materials and finish: The badge fronts and backs are formed from metal for durable construction and resistance to corrosion. The clear films are a high-grade PVC that produces a glossy, protective barrier over printed artwork so colors remain vibrant and the surface resists scuffs.
How to use: Prepare your artwork and trim it to the correct diameter. Layer the metal shell, the printed paper, and the clear film in the press in the proper order, then crimp with a 58mm button machine. Finally, attach the metal back with the pin using the machine’s back press. The process is straightforward and mirrors standard button-making workflows.
Applications: Ideal for DIY crafts, school or club events, name tags, promotional giveaways, party favors, and small-run merchandise. With 200 sets included, you can produce batches of custom buttons for teams, classrooms, or promotional campaigns.

Nice shape, longevity unknown
Parts came in good form. Time will tell how well they hold up with repeated use.

Great for quick tweaks
Handy lifesaver for a fast pants adjustment. A few buttons did crack after several months, though others lasted close to a year—might be down to how they were used.

Hooked on making pins
I’ve gotten a bit obsessed with making pins. My clothes have more pin holes now but I can’t stop creating. There’s so much I want to badge up that one bag of parts won’t be enough—I’ll be buying more.

Variable durability
Quality was uneven and I ended up discarding about 20 pieces. After assembling 75 and moving them in a bag, around 15 fell apart, plus a handful failed during pressing. The photo shows some of the rejects.

Keeps waistbands snug
Great for jeans, trousers and shorts. After losing a little weight these kept the waistband from gaping. Simple to fasten and there are several styles. I remove them before washing and snap them back on after. None have popped off while wearing. Handy if you’re between sizes and want to keep favorite pants.

Performs as expected
My daughter uses these in her button press without issues. We’ve reordered twice and will likely buy more when this batch runs out.

Smaller discs can jam
The smaller pieces are difficult to open and close; they tend to slip behind the metal backing and can jam.

Incomplete shipment
I only received the metal backs; the clear plastic films were missing, so I couldn’t assemble any buttons.

High quality, no failures
Solid quality when pressing badges. I used the full 200 pieces and didn’t have a single failure in the machine, which surprised me. Will definitely reorder.

Saves the day for loose jeans
These have been great for tightening a couple of loose-waist jeans. They can be a bit stubborn to remove at times, but they hold and have replaced broken buttons well. I recommend them.
