This 65-piece flooring installation kit gathers all the basic hand tools required for laying laminate, luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and many engineered hardwood products. The pull bar is made from reinforced Q235 steel and finished with an anti-corrosion coating to withstand heavy leverage when closing edge rows and tight-fitting corners. The mallet features two soft, abrasion-resistant rubber faces that absorb shock and return energy for repeat strikes without denting or splintering plank edges. The tapping block is molded from durable polypropylene; its profile spreads blows evenly across a plank’s face to reduce edge damage and ensure accurate locking when connecting boards.
Comfort and layout accessories include a pair of waterproof foam knee pads with adjustable straps to reduce knee fatigue during extended installs, and sixty serrated wedge spacers sized for consistent expansion gaps around room perimeters. The wedges bite into many subfloor surfaces to help maintain uniform spacing while you work.
Use the set by inserting spacers along walls to set expansion gaps, tap boards together with the mallet and tapping block to lock seams, and employ the pull bar for tight final rows where hand access is limited. The components are compact and intended for repeated use across multiple rooms or jobs.

Mixed results — some items better than others
Knee pads only have one strap and slip; wedges tended to shift so we taped them; mallet is average. The blue tapping block and the black pull bar were the most useful pieces.

Arrived used and worn
Package arrived with the hammer and several wedges showing prior use. Knee pad straps are flimsy and could use stronger fasteners. Overall tools perform adequately for a first-time LVP install.
