AccuSharp Knife Sharpener — Ergonomic Handheld Sharpener (Blaze Orange)
Product description
Get a sharp edge fast: This handheld sharpener is designed to restore and refine most kitchen and utility blades in a few pulls. The unit ships as a single handheld tool with integrated sharpening cutters, an ergonomic molded handle, and a full-length finger guard.
Cutting surfaces: The sharpening elements are diamond-honed tungsten carbide — a very hard material that quickly removes metal to recreate an edge. The carbide modules are double-beveled and can be reversed to extend service life, providing several years of use before replacement is needed. Typical user reports indicate multiple years of performance between any component changes.
Who it works on: Use it on chef’s knives, paring knives, fillet and boning knives, cleavers, steak knives and many serrated blades. It is intended to both restore very dull edges and to hone blades for everyday maintenance. The tool handles straight edges and many serrated profiles when drawn through the cutting slot as instructed.
Construction and care: The body is molded plastic with a comfortable, slip-resistant grip shaped to fit right- or left-handed users. A full-length guard shields fingers during sharpening. The carbide cutters can be rinsed with soap and water and the plastic body is easy to clean; many users have reported long service life when maintained. Designed for straightforward, repeatable sharpening with minimal technique required.
How to use it: Hold the handle securely and place the guarded end away from your hand. Draw the blade through the sharpening slot from heel to tip with light, even pressure, repeating a few times until the desired edge is achieved. An alternate method is to seat the sharpener inverted on a stable surface and pull the blade away from you across the cutter. Either technique will produce a useful edge quickly.

Sharp results with minimal effort
My knives came back to a keen edge with light, gentle passes. It worked especially well on my Japanese-steel knives when using a 15° model. I bought another so I’d always have one on hand and have been pleased with the performance.

Does the job but feels lighter
I’ve purchased this brand before. This particular piece seems a bit less sturdy than earlier ones, but it still sharpens blades well and does what it’s meant to do.

Surprisingly easy to use
I’m not skilled at sharpening, but this tool worked where stones and other drag-style sharpeners didn’t. It was effortless and effective—would buy again.

Very useful for everyday knives
Not aimed at ultra-expensive custom blades, but perfect for routine use. Dull knives were brought back to a keen edge with a few swipes. Compact and easy to store, and the safety guard helps prevent slips. Note: sharpening produces metal dust—wipe and rinse knives and clean nearby surfaces after use.

Makes cooking more enjoyable
I’ve owned these for years and given several as gifts. They outperform many electric and disc sharpeners I’ve tried for everyday maintenance. Follow the directions and use a steady, gentle pull; a sharp edge is restored in under two minutes and holds for weeks. The molded handle protects your hand while the base stays steady on the countertop.

Finally fixed my really dull knives
I ordered this after struggling with very dull blades. I’d tried steels and stones, but this sharpener made my knives usable again quickly. It handled my serrated bread knife too. There are two practical ways to use it: pull the blade through while holding the tool, or place the sharpener upside down on a steady surface and draw the knife across it. Both methods worked for me without harming the blades.

15° model restored my cooking knives
After an initial try with the standard unit I swapped to the 15° version and it made a big difference. It’s simple, quick and effective on chef’s, Santoku, boning and paring knives. If you want fast maintenance for kitchen knives, this does the job.

Solid value for quick touch-ups
Leaves a clean, usable edge quickly. More convenient than setting up stones when you only need a fast touch-up. May not satisfy sharpening purists, but great for routine maintenance.
