22 lb Kitchen Food Scale — IP67 Waterproof, USB-C Rechargeable (Grey)
Product description
High-resolution weighing: This food scale reports measurements in 1 g (0.1 oz) steps and supports anything from 2 g up to 10 kg (22 lb), making it suitable for small precision tasks and heavier batches alike.
Durable build and footprint: The platform combines stainless-steel veneer over tempered glass for a flat, easy-to-clean surface. The housing is ABS plastic with anti-slip rubber feet. Overall dimensions are approximately 8.3 × 6.3 × 0.8 inches, providing a compact, low-profile worktop presence.
IP67 waterproof protection: The internal electronics are fully sealed so the unit resists dust and can withstand brief immersion (up to 30 minutes) or routine rinsing after messy prep. Note: it is not designed for dishwasher use.
Rechargeable power and display: A built-in rechargeable battery (charged via USB-C cable included in the box) removes disposable battery hassles. The screen is large and easy to read for quick checks while cooking. Energy is conserved with a four-minute auto-off function.
Multiple modes and tare: Select between grams, pounds:ounces, milliliters, and milk-specific ml/fl oz modes for flexible dry and liquid measurements. The one-touch tare lets you zero containers and weigh ingredients directly in bowls while switching units on the fly.
Pros
- High 1 g accuracy across a 10 kg range
- IP67-rated protection for easy cleaning
- USB-C rechargeable battery removes disposable batteries
Cons
- Occasional ±1 g variance reported by some users
- Display can be hard to read in very bright outdoor light
- Platform size may be small for bulky containers
VerdictA sturdy, feature-rich kitchen scale that balances daily durability with convenient functions. It delivers 1 g increments up to 10 kg, a sealed design that tolerates splashes and brief submersion, and a rechargeable battery — ideal for bakers and meal preppers who want a low-maintenance, accurate tool with multiple unit options.

Excellent tool for precise baking
Really impressed with the build and accuracy. I use it all the time for baking, especially sourdough, and it’s transformed how consistent my recipes turn out.

Good for home use, not for precision tasks outdoors
We bought it for greenhouse use and it’s fine for basic work, but there can be a 1–2 g fluctuation and the screen is tough to read in direct sunlight. Rechargeable is a plus; we’ll keep it as a backup for heavier-duty instruments.

A quality product that does the job well. No problems so far.

The Emporium 5/5
Well-made, rechargeable, and versatile
Rechargeable via USB-C so no battery fuss. Tempered glass and stainless finish look sleek, and the IP67 rating lets me rinse it after messy prep. The 10 kg capacity and a milk volume mode are handy additions.

Attractive but frustratingly imprecise
Nice minimalist look and easy to wipe down, but slow response and poor sensitivity for small amounts. Tried measuring matcha and it still showed 0 g after scoops that were definitely over 5 g. Would return if I could.

Mr. Jimm 5/5
Does exactly what it claims, with a small tradeoff
Performs reliably for everyday recipes. Readings can vary by a gram or so if you weigh the same item multiple times — likely because the load sensors sit in the sealed feet. That minor swing hasn’t affected my baking, and I appreciate not needing to center items on the plate. I haven’t submerged it, but I like that the design keeps cleaning simple.

Stylish, tactile, and accurate
The soft-touch top feels upscale and the bright display is legible in low light. Accuracy has been good on everything I’ve weighed. The platform is a bit small for large bowls, though. I haven’t tested the waterproof rating but the construction seems robust.

Dependable for meal prep
Consistent and convenient for portioning and tracking. The waterproof surface makes cleaning painless and the tare and unit switching work smoothly.

Waterproof, practical, and straightforward
Near-ideal for us: rinse after weighing fruit or veg, tare an empty bowl, toggle units between weight and volume, and add ingredients. Rubber feet keep it steady and the ABS base feels durable.

No more scrambling for spare batteries
Switching to a rechargeable scale was a huge convenience. USB-C charging and a solid battery life mean it’s ready when I need it for batch cooking and baking.

Thoughtful engineering and user-friendly display
Feels premium with a stainless-steel tempered glass top. The 21 × 16 cm platform and low profile are practical, and the top-facing LED is easy to read at shallow angles — very ergonomic for frequent use.
