Sabbactisun Pond Disease Expellant — 32 fl oz Ornamental Fish Treatment
Product description
This product is supplied as a single 32 fl oz liquid bottle intended for use in ponds and outdoor water gardens with ornamental fish. Formulated from plant and herbal extracts, it is a chemical-free expellant aimed at resolving external infections and promoting healthier skin and fins.
The active approach of the formula is to dislodge and remove external pathogens from affected fish while encouraging a stronger immune response and supporting tissue regeneration. Conditions commonly treated include dropsy, fungal infections, milky or cloudy skin, fin and tail rot, bulging eyes, mouth rot, and raised or protruding scales.
Sabbactisun is presented as environmentally considerate and suitable for use around other aquatic animals and plants when applied according to package directions. It can be dosed while fish are being fed, helps reduce stress during and after transport, does not color the water, and typically does not cause a significant drop in dissolved oxygen levels.
Important precautions: this product is for ornamental species only and must not be used on fish intended for human consumption. Avoid eye contact — if eyes are exposed, rinse thoroughly with cold water — and follow all label instructions for safe and effective application.
Pros
- Plant- and herb-based, chemical-free formulation
- Safe for ornamental fish and aquatic plants when used as directed
- Helps remove external pathogens and supports tissue repair
Cons
- Can reduce beneficial bacterial populations in the pond
- Not approved for fish destined for human consumption
- Incorrect dosing or use in poor water conditions may harm fish
VerdictSabbactisun is a botanical-based expellant that addresses a range of external fish ailments while being gentle on plants and non-food aquatic life. It can accelerate recovery and ease transport stress, but users should be aware it may reduce beneficial bacterial levels in the pond and must be used only on ornamental fish following label directions.

Caused mass fish losses for me
I followed directions but lost many fish across species within hours despite normal water quality and an airstone at 75°F. For me it acted like a toxin rather than a remedy.

Worked well, no water changes needed
Delivered the expected results and I didn’t need to perform water changes during treatment.

Solved a recurring fin infection
My goldfish had persistent fin issues despite other treatments and frequent water changes. This formula cleared the infection. It’s concentrated — I treated a 125-gallon tank each day for over two weeks and still had product left.

A staple in my fish room
This is my second bottle and I’ll keep buying it. Used alongside other Microbe-Lift products, it gives me confidence against bacterial and parasitic problems. Though the directions are pond-focused, it’s easy to calculate doses for aquaria.

Cleared fin damage quickly
My 8" Wakin had a red, damaged spot on its fin and was hiding. Used this with Parazoryne and within three days the fin was clean and healthy again. I did raise the heater during treatment, but the result was great.

Did its job without harming plants
After the first dose the pond looked healthier and the fish were unaffected. I now use it monthly for maintenance and feel comfortable around my plants and fish.

Natural remedy that delivered
After moving several koi, a few developed bacterial wounds. I avoided harsh chemicals to protect the pond ecology and tried this product. Applied daily as directed for the treatment period and the ulcers closed; the fish returned to normal activity and feeding. One downside: it knocked back much of the beneficial bacterial colony, so we had to reestablish it afterward — a known trade-off.
