Big Agnes Divide Insulated Air-Chamber Sleeping Pad — Regular
Product description
The Divide Insulated pad is built to pair low weight with solid warmth for three-season use. It ships with an inflation sack to speed filling, a protective storage sack to stow the pad when not in use, a replacement valve seal, and 3M repair patches for field repairs.
Thermolite insulation combined with a reflective film traps and returns body heat to help limit conductive heat loss. For very cold, frozen ground conditions you can increase protection by layering a closed-cell foam pad underneath.
Internally the pad uses a proprietary I‑Beam air chamber layout that keeps weight down while maintaining stable support. The pad is 3.25" thick and features larger 3.5" outer chambers that help keep you centered and comfortable through the night.
The shell is made from recycled nylon ripstop fabric laminated with aviation-grade TPU for strong, reliable welds and long life. High-volume valves with micro-adjustment let you inflate and deflate quickly and fine-tune firmness. The regular size measures 20" x 72", weighs about 23 oz, and compresses to roughly a 5" x 8" package. Every pad is inflated and tested at the factory and is covered against manufacturing and material defects under the company’s lifetime warranty.

Comfortable for side sleepers, a bit crinkly
As a side sleeper I found this pad hits the sweet spot of price, comfort, and weight. The material does make a noticeable squeak with movement. Inflation was easy with the included bag; I’d prefer the inflator doubled as the carry sack, but a small patch kit is included.

Solid insulated pad with useful extras
High-quality insulated pad that comes with an inflation bag and repair patches. I picked this for reliable warmth across seasons. It’s rated R‑4.0, comfortable, and feels durable. My 25" x 78" model weighed about 33 oz and was quieter than many others. Minor gripes: the inflator bag had no instructions and inflation still needs a bit of time, though it’s easier than blowing by mouth.

Dependable over years of use
My partner and I have used this for two years with no problems. Comfortable and reliable—no issues so far.

Ideal for two-person use on the trail
Excellent for two people who want a shared sleeping surface while backpacking. Larger than a single but still manageable; weight and comfort are both very good. Inflation is straightforward—my go-to for multi-night treks.

Very comfortable and packs down well
Super comfy for camping; the kids stayed warm and it compresses small for storage. The company’s inflation setup is handy and speeds setup.

Turns ground sleeping into a real bed
I figured outdoor sleep would be rough at my age, but this pad changes that—almost mattress-like. Easy to inflate, it held air without cold spots. Tested at 45°F and I felt no chill from below.

Warm, holds air well over multi-day trips
High quality and stayed inflated over a four-day trip with only minimal topping up. Very warm and comfortable. It’s on the large side—two won’t fit side-by-side in our two-person tent—but I’d consider another of the same model for future travel. Worth the investment.

Sizing compatibility issues with sleep systems
I’m sure the pad itself is great, but it didn’t fit my sleeping system—the size ran too large. Wish there were clearer size compatibility details for sleep system integration.
