Workhorse for the office
I bought these for daily office use and they’ve been dependable. The blades slice cleanly through paper, light cardstock and tags without shredding. The grip is comfortable for frequent use and the pivot moves smoothly. For routine tasks they’ve exceeded my expectations. Only quibble: the pivot felt a touch looser after some weeks.

Finally a scissor that actually cuts
Unlike a herb cutter I tried, these actually slice through stacks of shredded paper and even old DVDs without much trouble. They handle cardboard too. The only downside is that if you spend a long time cutting bulky items, the handle can rub and irritate your thumb.
