Foldable Stair Climber with Extended Step Range — Hydraulic Stepper
Product description
The machine ships as a near-complete unit with the climber frame, dual bungee-style balance cords, hydraulic piston assemblies, pedal platforms, an LCD display module, a phone/device holder and the small toolkit required for final assembly. The kit also includes the hardware and a basic manual to guide setup.
Construction combines a triangular steel frame with hydraulic cylinders under each pedal and flexible bungee cords that attach to the upper handlebars. Pedals are broad for stable footing and the handlebars offer four height settings. The LCD delivers time, calorie estimate, step count, steps per minute and total sessions, while the device cradle keeps your phone or tablet in view for app workouts.
Step height is adjustable across a wide range (roughly 8.9" up to the high setting) and the unit supports a stride length that lets you choose longer ranges for greater muscle activation or shorter steps for gentler, endurance-focused movement. The frame is rated to hold about 330 lb and the hydraulic dampers control pedal return speed for smooth stepping.
A free companion app provides trainer-led climbs, scenic routes, real-time metrics and AI-personalized plans based on your body data to help progress safely. The climber folds flat for storage, making it practical for apartments and compact home gyms, and the relatively light chassis is easy to move when needed.

VerdictThis fold-flat stair climber delivers a solid low-impact climb that targets glutes, hamstrings, calves and core while letting you vary intensity via step height and stride length. Light bungee-style cords help with stability and ease of start, and hydraulic pistons provide a quiet, controlled motion for most users. The triangular steel frame feels stable underfoot and supports larger users; the un

Limited resistance adjustments despite description
I expected a resistance control from the product info, but there isn’t a true resistance dial. Still gives a solid workout and functions well for general conditioning.

Damaged delivery initially, replacement worked fine
The first box arrived badly damaged with broken pieces and missing tools. Replacement arrived and assembled in under an hour; it’s fairly quiet but lacks any true intensity adjustment. Overall okay after replacement, but check your shipment carefully.

Assembly easy but pedals can slam at full extension
Put together in about 30 minutes and it’s compact and lightweight to move. The cell phone holder fits well. However, there’s little to slow the pedals at full extension, so they can slam if you overextend — some users may want to modify or avoid full extension.

Dependable long-term stepper with a steady routine
Owned mine since 2020 and it’s been a reliable home workout tool. I do 20-minute sessions several times a week with moderate damper settings and light hand support. It offers a challenging workout without overstraining joints when used correctly.

Good device — sidelined by a knee injury
Quality piece of equipment. I recently injured a knee and can’t use it yet, but it’s waiting for me when I’m cleared to return to exercise.

Sturdy and sweat-inducing — folding pin is awkward
Delivers a solid, sweaty workout and feels stable. Folding works but the locking pin didn’t fit securely for me, so I leave it unfolded and keep it in a corner; still compact enough for bedroom storage.

Versatile machine for steady and high-intensity sessions
Very impressed by the range — it handles steady-state cardio and intense intervals equally well. It’s quiet, stable and compact, so it fits in tight spaces and runs smoothly on carpet. I don’t use the built-in console so I can’t vouch for its accuracy, but the unit itself performs excellently for full-body climbs.

Returned due to missing monitor
The digital display wasn’t included in the box, so the unit couldn’t be used as intended and had to be returned.

Compact climber ideal for modest fitness levels
Delivers deep stepping motions that mimic outdoor climbing. Well built and space-efficient, it’s great for maintaining stamina and balance without intense athletic demands. I recommend it for regular, short spurts of activity.

Immediate intensity — a wake-up call for beginners
This thing will show you how out of shape you might be — short bursts leave you sweating and shaky. Assembly was straightforward and it’s effective for rebuilding leg strength if you progress gradually through the levels.

Small, effective and easy to store
Simple to assemble and stores neatly behind a door. The on-board computer is basic but useful, and a little lubricant on the pistons keeps it running smoothly. Expect some operational noise on occasion.

Perspective from a tall user (6'6")
As a very tall and heavier user I was curious if it would work for me. The small footprint and adjustable steps made it a practical choice. It handles my weight and gives a good climb, though taller users should check stride comfort before committing.

Solid build, smooth hydraulics for most workouts
Arrived mostly assembled and was easy to finish with the included tools. The frame feels sturdy and the weight distribution keeps it stable. The hydraulic pistons return smoothly for walking and moderate intervals; if you try to sprint the pedals can move faster than you want unless you add extra resistance or straps. Overall very reliable for regular cardio and HIIT bursts.
