Upgraded Envisual chip and fisheye correction: This version uses a refreshed processing chip with a fish-eye correction feature that broadens the camera’s effective capture area. That helps the sensor better read colors at the display edges for more accurate mapping.
4-in-1 LED beads with warm white: The strip features RGBICW technology — separate red, green, blue, individually addressable pixels plus an added warm-white LED per module. That increases pixel density and gives a truer white tone alongside richer, more natural color transitions for movies and games.
Camera mounting and gravitational hanging design: The kit includes a small camera/sensor that mounts to the top edge of ultra-thin TVs. A gravitational hanging mount simplifies alignment, and adhesive squares are provided to keep the sensor stable during use.
Syncing and multi-device linking: Using the Govee DreamView capability, you can link the 3 Lite to up to seven other Govee sub-devices to build a 360° ambient experience. Linked units duplicate or expand the light-mapping effects around the room for a fuller visual envelope.
Screen capture and compatibility: The camera captures the colors of whatever’s on the screen in real time, matching tones from streaming, local video, and games. The system is designed to work across content types without special compatibility requirements.
App, voice control, and AI lighting: Control comes through the companion app with presets, black-bar exclusion, blank-screen detection, and scene modes. It also supports voice commands via popular assistants. An AI lighting assistant in the app can generate customized effects from voice, text, or photos and refine them interactively.
What’s in the box and sizing: The package includes the 16.4 ft LED strip sized for 75–85" televisions, the camera/sensor with mounting accessories and adhesive markers, a control box, power adapter, and a quick-start guide. The strip and camera are made from flexible PCB with adhesive backing and plastic housing for the camera and control unit.

Instant sync on my 4K TV
Fantastic effect for movies and games—really enhances immersion. The all-in-one kit synced and worked immediately. Govee products I’ve used have held up well and integrated smoothly with my other smart bulbs.

Gifted and well received
Bought as a present. The recipient mentioned calibration took some patience and they performed a couple of factory resets, but once configured it’s been solid. Colors track movement and brightness well and dim tones render appropriately. They’re very happy with it.

Great product and exceptional support
I’ve accumulated many Govee lights around my home and added the 3 Lite to my 85" set. It looked and worked great at first, then the control box stopped pairing over Bluetooth. After trying the usual fixes, I contacted customer support and was impressed—fast responses, clear troubleshooting, and they shipped a replacement without hassle. Electronics sometimes fail, but how a brand handles it matters. Their support convinced me to keep buying their gear.

Great value for a TV bias-light kit
Setup required following the squares and app steps; I hit a few app hiccups initially but solved them. Accuracy isn’t on par with systems that use three cameras or a larger capture box, but for the features included it’s a strong value. They get bright enough behind my 48" OLED to reduce eye strain and add pleasing ambience.

Great adaptive lighting but adhesive is single-use
This kit delivers adaptive bias lighting that reacts well to changing scenes and adds noticeable ambience when things like flames move off-screen. Occasionally the sensor misinterpreted sandy textures or very dark scenes, but overall it responds well. My complaint is the calibration markers and adhesive strips feel designed for a single permanent installation rather than repeated moves.

Allow time to set it up and tweak app options and this becomes a standout addition. Adhesive and parts could be stronger—gaffer tape helps in weak spots. Default mapping blends screen colors, which may mix distinct sides into a single hue; switching to a partitioned mode yields separate left/right colors as expected. It doesn’t account for letterbox bars by default, so you may want to adjust settings.

I’ve bought multiple Govee items over time and upgraded to this model. Installation was easy and the adhesive held until I removed a previous set. Mounted on my 83" OLED, it elevates demos, games, and movies with adjustable brightness that complements ambient light. Everyone who sees it asks about it. I added extra strips to the stand and furniture for a fuller effect—especially useful for games and fast-action movies. Less flashy material blends better when I lower saturation. Occasionally certain hues like orange or pale blue are a little off for a moment, but overall the impact is fantastic for the price.
