Reusable Beeswax Food Wrap Roll — Organic Cotton, 13 x 39 in
Product description
Eco-conscious materials and construction: Each sheet is made from 100% organic cotton fabric that’s been coated in a blend of natural beeswax, organic plant oils, and tree-derived resins. The result is a plastic-free, biodegradable wrap meant for home composting when it’s no longer usable.
A jumbo roll you can trim to fit: Instead of fixed-size pieces, this product comes as a single 13 x 39-inch roll so you can cut lengths to suit sandwiches, loaves, bundles of produce, or to create single-use snack pouches. The extra-large format reduces waste by letting you tailor each piece to the task.
Decorative bee motif: The wrap is printed with a honeycomb and bee pattern that adds a bit of charm to routine food storage. The cheerful design makes covering bowls or wrapping leftovers feel more like a small, sustainable ritual than a chore.
Seals to help preserve freshness: The beeswax coating gives the fabric a slightly tacky finish that clings to glass, ceramic, or itself when warmed. This helps slow drying and odor transfer for items like bread, cheese, fruits, and vegetables, extending their usable life compared with leaving them exposed.
Care, reuse, and disposal: Clean wraps by rinsing or washing gently in warm water with mild soap, then air dry away from direct heat sources. They’re intended to be reused many times; with regular care they provide repeated service. When the coating wears out, cut the material into strips and add it to your compost pile — no synthetic plastics linger.
Pros
- Large roll can be cut to any size
- Made from organic, compostable materials
- Adheres when warmed to seal food
Cons
- Not safe near heat or hot surfaces
- Will eventually need replacement
- No built-in cutter or dispenser
VerdictThis jumbo beeswax wrap roll offers a flexible, eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastic. The organic cotton coated with beeswax, plant oils, and natural resin forms a clingable surface that seals around containers and food when warmed by your hands. It won’t replace every plastic item in the kitchen, but for routine small storage tasks it reduces waste and performs reliably. Care is simple

Solid eco-friendly alternative, sturdy and compostable
I’m trying to reduce plastic and this wrap fits the bill: reusable, organic cotton, and compostable. It’s durable and conforms to jars and bowls, and will wrap sandwiches too. Edges can lift slightly on flat folds, but it still encloses food well. The design is attractive, you can cut to size to avoid waste, and it can be composted when worn out.

Looks durable — should save money over time
I haven’t used it to cover a dish yet, but the material seems more robust than I expected for beeswax. With the amount on the roll, if it’s truly reusable, it should pay for itself by cutting down on disposable wraps.

Useful for cutting down on plastic use
I’d seen these at markets but hadn’t tried them until now. The instructions are straightforward: warm with your hands to shape, wash in warm water, air dry, and keep away from heat. They don’t last forever and won’t create a perfect vacuum seal, so they’re not a complete replacement for bags. Still, they do reduce single-use plastic and I’d recommend them for anyone trying to use less.

Attractive and well-made; ready to try in the kitchen
I haven’t put it into heavy use yet, but first impressions are positive. The fabric is sturdy, the print is charming, and cutting to any size feels convenient. I like that it’s organic and compostable — looks good in the kitchen and easy to handle. I’ll update if anything changes after use.

Works well — packaging could be smarter
The roll cuts into whatever sizes I need and molds nicely around bowls, food, and containers. It’s reusable and effective. My gripe is the lack of a dispenser box or built-in cutter; needing scissors each time is a hassle. A reusable dispenser with a cutting edge would make this product much more convenient.

Finally a reasonably sized wrap that actually performs
I’ve liked the idea of beeswax wraps but always balked at small, expensive sheets. This larger roll feels high-quality and the bee pattern is cute. It molds easily with body heat and keeps its shape, which makes it handy for cheese, bread ends, and other small items I’d normally bag. It won’t replace every container, but used regularly it cuts down on lots of disposable plastic.
