CECO 13-Function Bike Multi-Tool with Chain Breaker (Ultra-Slim)
Product description
Professional-grade, ultra-slim 13-function bicycle multi-tool with a built-in chain breaker. The tool is manufactured from hardened CR-V 6150 tool steel with reinforced side bars for added strength and long-term wear resistance. A small lever is incorporated to assist with separating and reinstalling chain pins for easier chain repairs.
Each bit is CNC machined to ensure accurate engagement with fasteners and a secure fit under load. The tool includes metric hex heads (2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 mm), a Phillips #2 driver, a slotted (flathead) #5, a T25 Torx, a two-size spoke wrench (14 and 15), and a chain breaker compatible with 8- to 11-speed chains.
Designed for portability, the unit unfolds for use and folds back to a slim 0.45 inch (about 9/20 in) thickness. Its folded dimensions measure 1.8 x 3 x 0.45 inches and it weighs approximately 147 grams. The compact profile allows it to sit comfortably in jacket pockets, cycling jerseys, saddlebags, or small packs.
A protective canvas pouch is provided to keep the tool secure during transport. The manufacturer performs multiple quality checks on each tool prior to shipment. Model designation: LP13. The product is produced by CECO, a group of designers and engineers based in California focused on delivering functional, well-built outdoor tools.
Pros
- Very slim and easy to carry
- Hardened CR-V 6150 construction
- Wide range of CNC-machined bits including chain breaker
Cons
- Chain breaker is serviceable but not as strong as standalone units
- Included canvas pouch can be oversized
- Fastening screws may loosen with heavy use
VerdictWell-made, pocketable multi-tool that covers most on-bike emergencies. The CR-V 6150 construction and CNC-machined bits deliver solid durability and fit, while the integrated chain breaker adds real-world utility. Pouch and chain-tool performance aren’t flawless, but it’s a reliable companion for rides.

Saved my ride more than once
Rescued me on a few breakdowns while riding with kids. Durable, light, and the chain breaker and bits have held up without rust. Exceeded what I expected from a compact tool.

Got me back on the trail
A broken link jammed my derailleur; this tool popped the link out and I was rolling again in about five minutes. Great thing to carry on rides.

Compact and robust
Useful selection of hex keys and solid feel. I haven’t tried the chain breaker, but the hex tools work well and the unit seems built to last.

Versatile and thin
Covers every common fastener and even two spoke-wrench sizes. The slim, flat layout slips into a back pocket like a wallet. The chain tool is adequate but not exceptional.

Good design, bulky pouch
Smartly nested tools keep the unit compact, but the supplied case is larger than needed. Screws loosened once and had to be tightened; origin isn’t marked. Actual max thickness measures about 9/16".

Fits tight packs perfectly
Needed a smaller tool for a slim top-tube pack and this is ideal. Lightweight and includes most essentials—just add a small pliers if you use them often.
