Sparkling Blood-Red Sealing Wax Sticks for Large Glue Gun — Pack of 12
Product description
What’s included: A pack of 12 sealing wax sticks presented in attractive packaging. The color supplied is a deep, blood-red tone that photographs and prints nicely and is intended for use with glue guns.
Size and yield: Each stick measures 2/5 inch in diameter by 5 2/5 inch in length. With typical application you can get roughly 13–17 wax seals per stick, meaning a single pack can produce more than 200 seals total — ideal for batches of invitations or gift finishing.
Materials and performance: These sticks are formulated from wax blended with a small percentage of resin. The result is a slightly flexible seal that resists cracking under light external force. The compound is smokeless and non-toxic, melts easily at a low temperature, flows smoothly with minimal bubbling, and sets quickly.
How to use: Designed for standard-size glue guns, the sticks slide into the chamber and melt down for direct dispensing. Because of the low melting point and glue-gun delivery, handling is easier and there’s less risk of accidental burns compared with open-flame methods. Apply the molten wax to your surface, press a seal stamp while the wax is still hot, and allow it to cool for a crisp impression.
Applications: Suited for sealing wedding invitations, envelopes, cards, certificates and manuscripts. They also work beautifully for decorating gift wrap, wine bottles, tea and cosmetics boxes, or party favors — anywhere you want a classic wax seal touch without the fuss of melting wax over a flame.
Pros
- Rich, vivid blood-red hue
- Low-melt, smokeless formula for glue guns
- Flexible composition resists cracking
Cons
- Sticks may be slightly short for some glue guns
- Seals can come out thin if pressed heavily
- Pack contains a single color option
VerdictThis 12-stick set delivers vivid, jewel-like red seals with the convenience of glue-gun melting. The low-melt, resin-enhanced formula melts cleanly and adheres well when applied hot, producing consistent, attractive seals in bulk. Some guns may require loading sticks back-to-back, and the final seal thickness can be delicate, which many users find desirable. Overall a reliable choice for mass mail

Worked fantastically for props
Fantastic — used these as fake blood on Halloween decorations and the look was convincingly realistic!

Bright, authentic red
Vivid color that lends an old-world feel to letters. The wax adheres reliably if applied hot; cool it too long and the seal can lift. I’ve mailed many pieces and they’ve stayed put.

Met my needs with a small workaround
They melt and stamp beautifully. I knocked a star off because each stick is a little short for my glue gun, but loading them back-to-back fixed that. Well packed and low-melt — ideal for my 3D-printed stamps; color turned out lovely.

Easy for limited dexterity
Very simple to use — I have hand coordination issues and the glue-gun method was much easier than flame-waxing. I made 30 invites with consistent, beautiful results using the blood-red sticks and a heavy-duty glue gun.

Great for producing wedding seals
Excellent for making large batches of invitation seals. The wax spreads a touch thin under pressure, which gives a delicate edge I liked and makes envelopes easier to open. It matched my wedding palette perfectly and was far quicker and smoother to melt than some bead-style wax I tried before.
