2-Pack Button Hook & Zipper Pull Dressing Aid — Grey
Product description
What you get: two identical grey dressing aids that combine a button hook and a zipper pull in one compact tool. Each piece is intended for single-handed dressing assistance and arrives ready to use.
Handle and materials: a broad, non-slip handle with a textured, massage-like surface offers a firm foothold for hands with limited strength or sensation. The buttoning end uses a slender, durable steel loop with a tapered tip designed to thread through tight buttonholes and catch the button shank securely. At the opposite end a narrow, smoothly rounded zipper hook is molded to slip into many zipper pulls and help operate sliders.
Sizing and compatibility: the loop is slim enough to work with a wide range of button sizes and hole openings, making it suitable for shirts, blouses, and similar garments. The zipper hook is sized to engage larger or standard zipper pulls easily; however, it may not fit very small slider holes on some items.
How to use: insert the tapered loop through the garment’s buttonhole, hook the button, and pull it back through to fasten. For zippers, slide the rounded hook into the zipper pull’s hole and draw the slider along the track. These tools are especially helpful for seniors, people with arthritis, limited hand mobility, hand pain, or during recovery from injuries that limit arm or finger use.
Pros
- Effective one-handed buttoning
- Wide, non-slip textured handle
- Includes zipper hook for many pulls
Cons
- Zipper hook can be too thick for very small pulls
- Takes practice to unbutton smoothly
- Not universal for all zipper styles
VerdictA simple, solid two-pack for anyone who struggles with buttons. The ergonomic, textured handle gives good grip for one-handed use and the tapered steel loop slides through small buttonholes reliably. The built-in zipper hook works on larger zipper pulls but can be too thick for tiny slider holes. Best purchased for easing buttoning tasks; the zipper feature is a useful bonus when compatible.

Great for limited dexterity, zipper is secondary
A useful pair for anyone who struggles with buttoning. The handle is comfortable, the button hook becomes intuitive after a few tries, and having two is handy for home and travel. The zipper hook is bulkier and suits larger pulls better, so buy it mainly for buttons.

Does the job for arthritic hands
Really pleased with these. When my fingers are stiff from arthritis, the hook makes fastening buttons quick and far less painful.

Perfect little gifts to share
I started buying extras to give to friends who struggle with buttons. Each came in its own box. They’re practical, well-received, and I’ll be getting more to hand out with other handy aids.

Simple and effective one-handed aid
Handy for dressing when you only have one functional hand.

Good for buttons; zipper fit varies
This two-pack handles buttons very well — with a little practice unbuttoning is possible too. The zipper hook, however, is on the thick side and won’t pass through many small slider holes. If your garments have larger zipper pulls it will work, but for tiny zipper openings you’ll need a slimmer pull tool.

Saved me while in a sling
With one arm immobilized after surgery I can still manage buttons. The tool is easy to use, reliable, and a real help during recovery.
