2-Piece Stainless Steel Double-Edged Hoof Knife Set with Wooden Handles
Product description
This listing is for a pair of double-edged hoof trimming knives. Each tool combines a stainless-steel blade with a solid wood handle and is supplied as a set of two identical knives.
Materials and construction: The blades are stainless steel and are repeatedly forged to improve wear resistance. Each blade is mounted to its wooden handle with two rivets to reduce the chance of separation during use. The handles are elliptical solid wood in a light wood finish, shaped to fit the hand and help resist slipping.
Dimensions and weight: Each knife measures approximately 23 cm (9.1 in) in length and 4 cm (1.6 in) in width. The combined weight for the two knives is about 160 g. Color: light wood handle finish.
How it’s used: The knives feature a curved, horseshoe-style double edge that helps speed and precision when paring and cleaning the toes and frogs of hooves. They are intended for routine trimming and repair of hooves on horses, cows, sheep, goats and donkeys, and are suitable for use in stables, small farms and ranch settings. Hoof smiths, veterinarians and livestock keepers commonly use this style for routine maintenance and corrective trimming.
Packing list and care notes: Included: 2 x double-edged hoof knives. Keep blades dry and lightly oiled to limit corrosion. Sharpen as needed for sustained cutting performance. Attention: measurements are manual and may vary slightly; screen displays can alter color perception. If you receive a defective tool, contact the seller for exchange or refund options available within six months.

Blades dull with frequent trimming
These are inexpensive tools and the edges lose sharpness quickly. If you trim a lot, plan to resharpen often or rotate knives between hooves.
