Super Glaze Pour-On High-Gloss Epoxy for Wood
Product description
This product is a two-part pour-on epoxy kit containing a resin and a matching hardener that must be mixed immediately before use. It is formulated for interior applications and performs on a broad set of substrates — rough or unfinished wood, stained surfaces, painted pieces, crafts, tiles and other smooth materials.
The finish is waterproof and cures to an extra-hard, glossy surface. You can choose an ultra-clear formula or pick a version that arrives pre-tinted for decorative pours. Coverage is approximately 6.2 square feet per quart, and the coating becomes touch-dry in about 4–5 hours under typical indoor conditions.
Important handling notes: work within the manufacturer’s short pot life — the mixed product should be applied within roughly 20 minutes for optimal flow and leveling. This glaze is intended for tops, trays, bars, tables and similar interior items; it is not formulated for use as a floor coating. Proper mixing, bubble removal with heat, and allowing full cure time will deliver the intended glossy, durable surface.
Pros
- High-gloss, extra-hard waterproof finish
- Works on many interior surfaces (rough or smooth)
- Available clear or pre-tinted for decorative pours
Cons
- Very limited working time after mixing
- Sensitive to improper mixing—may fail if not stirred thoroughly
- Not suitable for floors or prolonged direct UV exposure
VerdictThis two-part pour-on epoxy creates a glass-like, moisture-resistant coating that holds up to heat and chemicals once fully cured. It’s versatile for rough, unfinished, stained, painted or smooth substrates and comes in crystal-clear or pre-tinted formulas. Expect a fast skin time (4–5 hours to touch) and modest coverage (about 6.2 sq ft per quart), and heed the short working window after mixing.

Es bueno en general el único defecto es que el palo se chispo de la cabeza al 3e 1/5
Mixture separated and formed lumps
My batch split and developed many horrible clumps when I tried to apply it to the wood.

Clear, self-leveling gloss
Mixes up cleanly and a small amount spreads well. It levels into a very nice glossy finish.

Authentic product but requires skill
The kit arrived genuine and well packaged, but glazing properly took more practice than I expected. Make sure you understand the process and estimate how much you’ll need before starting.

Seal gaps and consider an extra kit for stronger color
Although labeled for interior use, I poured this on a patio table I built. I probably should have used a second kit to intensify the turquoise, but I liked the way the epoxy pooled into the wood’s peaks and valleys. I’ll cover the table when it’s not in use since I’m unsure how daily sun will affect it.

Glass-like surface after full cure
I used this once to add a glossy layer to resin art and travertine coasters. It’s thick and very shiny when fully cured — give it about 20 days before setting anything hot on it to avoid dents. Works great for embedded trays and coasters if you follow the directions; poor results usually trace back to user error, not the product.

Mostly straightforward; watch for tiny bubbles
Application was fairly easy. I noticed a few small bubbles on the finished counter but they were minimal. Follow the mixing steps closely and have a stir stick or straight edge handy to smooth after pouring. One kit covered my 54-inch standard-depth counter with a painted marble look.

Very user-friendly once you follow directions
I’ve applied this to countertops, tables and chairs and really like the results. Customer support helped when I missed a mixing step; once I followed the full instructions the product worked exactly as expected. Great for preserving painted pieces.

Reliable performance if mixed and heated properly
Used this to coat a 42" turntable and a refinished rifle stock with no issues. Problems I’ve seen from others usually come from not stirring the resin and hardener enough. A heat gun or hair dryer removes small bubbles, and 0000 steel wool gives a matte effect if desired.
