Epic Gardening 6‑in‑1 Metal Raised Garden Bed — Medium (29in)
Product description
Built to outlast wood, this raised planter is formed from aluzinc steel — a corrosion-resistant alloy — and uses stainless steel hardware for longevity. The finish includes a removable protective film on both faces of the panels to prevent scratches in transit. The kit ships with multiple interlocking panels, corner pieces, a center brace for larger layouts, a top edge protector to cover raw metal, all bolts and nuts, an assembly tool, and step-by-step instructions.
The bed measures roughly 29 inches deep, giving generous room for root systems and multiple planting layers. The construction is intentionally open at the bottom so soil drains freely, roots receive fresh oxygen, and excess moisture doesn’t pool; that layout also reduces weed intrusion from below. You’ll want to site the bed on a well-draining surface or add a layer of rock or gravel if your soil is compact.
A modular assembly approach means you can create straight runs, rectangles, or other shapes by combining the supplied straight panels and corner pieces. The center brace helps stabilize longer spans, and the top edge protector snaps on to smooth the rim for safer handling. All fasteners and a compact driver are included to complete the build without sourcing extra tools.
Materials are rated food-safe so you can grow edibles without concern for common coatings or contaminants, and the manufacturer notes sustainable practices and use of recycled components in production. The panels are lightweight enough to reposition before filling with soil, which makes experimenting with layouts easy for patios, yards, and greenhouse applications.
Use the bed to elevate planting above poor native soils, create a tidy vegetable patch, or offer a controlled environment for herbs and flowers. Fill depth and soil mix will determine which crops perform best — the 29‑inch depth supports most vegetables comfortably, while taller perennial roots may require deeper planning.

Configurable metal planter
Sturdy and flexible to arrange. I set mine long and narrow along a fence. The package included a center brace, edge protector, nuts, bolts, an assembly tool, and instructions. After placing it on a bed of rocks for drainage it’s ready for soil and spring planting.

Reliable raised bed solution
A solid choice for improving growing areas with poor soil. I used it inside a high tunnel to lift plants above compacted clay and it’s performed well. The aluzinc panels feel durable and assembly was straightforward; the modular design allowed me to fit it to my space.

Good kit, wish it was taller
Packaging protected the panels and they came with a peelable film on both sides. All hardware was included and assembly was easy. My only gripe is I’d prefer 18-inch panels instead of the 15-inch height.

Happy with my Birdies planters
I really like these Birdies beds. They’re well made and quick to put together. Being lightweight lets me try different layouts before filling them.
