4-Tine Garden Fork — 45" Spading/Pitch Fork with Forged Y-Grip
Product description
What you get: one 4-tine garden fork intended for digging, spading and moving garden material.
Construction: The fork head is formed by a forging process into a single unit to improve strength and reduce the chance of the tines bending when you work in compacted ground. The four prongs are stout enough for moving compost, straw and heavier debris.
Handle and grip: A solid wood shaft provides the main grip and is paired with a forged Y-style handle at the top for secure two-handed control. The combination gives a comfortable hold during repeated use and helps distribute force when prying or lifting.
Dimensions and weight: Overall length measures 45 inches, giving good reach without being unwieldy. The tool weighs approximately 4.5 pounds, a weight that most adults — including older users and those who prefer lighter garden tools — will find manageable.
Primary uses: Designed for loosening soil, turning compost, digging potatoes or garlic, and shifting mulch, leaves, straw or hay. It also performs well for clearing garden debris and aerating beds where sturdy tines are needed.
Support and quality: Manufactured in a professional facility that offers production oversight and after-sales assistance. If questions or issues arise before or after purchase, customer support from the factory is available to address them.

Handle broke
Handle snapped in two during normal use, so durability is an issue for me.
-

Tines are too thick
Prongs are chunky, more like a spade — not suitable for my finer soil needs.

Well made but heavy
Sturdy construction and a hefty feel; I would have preferred a wooden handle across the whole shaft.

Smaller head and shorter length
Keep in mind it’s a bit shorter and the head is not very large; I knew this but others might miss it.

Rugged yet manageable
I waited until we’d used it a lot. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold and strong enough for cleaning stalls. Better than heavy antique forks for kids helping with chores. Packaged well and sustained regular use without damage; I’ll buy more for other barns.
