Knoweasy 2-in-1 Wire Stripper with Cutter — 7–32 AWG Automatic Tool
Product description
This Knoweasy D3 wire stripper is an automatic 2-in-1 hand tool that strips and trims insulated conductors. It is designed for use with stranded and solid wires in the 7–32 AWG range (roughly 0.03 mm² to 10 mm²) and is especially useful for speaker, electrical and general electronic wiring.
The stripper features an adjustable length stop so you can set stripping lengths from about 5–20 mm (0.25–0.75 in) for consistent exposed conductor lengths when using connectors or terminals. The tool’s self-adjusting jaws catch and remove insulation without manual gauge selection, streamlining repetitive tasks.
Construction combines hardened steel strip elements for the working surfaces and glass-fiber reinforced nylon for the housing and handles to keep weight down while maintaining functional strength. The device is intended for copper and aluminum conductors and various insulated sleeving; it is not designed to cut through steel or very hard materials.
Operation is straightforward: set the red slider to the desired strip length, clamp and squeeze the handles to score and pull off the jacket. It works with single- and multi-stranded conductors and standard PVC insulation types. A small wire cutting channel is included for trimming conductor ends.
Included in the package are the Knoweasy D3 wire stripper, a brief welcome/usage guide, and a 12-month warranty with responsive customer support should issues arise.

A major improvement over manual stripping
Used to clamp/twist/pull; this makes those jobs almost effortless. Set the length, squeeze, and go — quick, easy and solidly put together for non-professional use.

Does the job
Performs as expected and gives consistent strips. Good value for occasional use.

Great for hobbyists
Perfect for hobby and light electrical work — slices 22 AWG cleanly and allows very short strip lengths. Not built for heavy trade use, but much easier to use than bulkier, heavier professional tools.

Too many failures for me
After trying it on several projects I found it clipped the conductor instead of stripping most of the time. Only a handful of successful strips out of many attempts. Feels cheaply made and I tossed it after losing patience.

Saved me time on a soffit lighting job
Worked great on 14 AWG UF-B during a run of 17 wafer lights around my soffit. I needed precise exposed lengths for Wago connectors, so I marked the correct stop with a highlighter, set the red slider, and it stayed put for the whole job. Made ladder work much faster and safer — I’m a 56-year-old DIYer and it made the project smooth.

Stopped performing after a few months
Worked well at first, stripping up to 6 AWG, but after about three months it struggled with tougher sleeves. The red length stop also wore and became hard to lock. Not the longevity I expected.

Very versatile and handy
This 2-in-1 stripper handled a wide range of sizes and speaker wire with ease. The adjustable stop (5–20 mm) helped me get consistent lengths, and the steel strips with glass-fiber nylon housing felt sturdy for typical electrical and automotive tasks.

Surprisingly efficient despite light feel
Honestly, the plastic feels low-end, but the stripping mechanism surprised me — clean, efficient strips. Good value considering what it does.

Most effective simple stripper I own
This tool just works and is straightforward to use. Clear operation and reliable stripping — exactly what I wanted.

Looks cheap and failed early
It strips fine at first glance but broke on first use for me. Feels low quality. I’d recommend buying from a more reputable brand if you need durability.

Clever design, reliable results
Consistent performance across different gauges and a real time-saver. Feels inexpensive but performs reliably. Downsides: the plastic housing seems fragile and the cutting slot could be a bit larger. I’ll buy extras as gifts.
