The Pro Kit ships with a 20" collapsible beauty dish, a 40° XL grid, a diffusion sock, a MagMod XL Beauty Dish Bowens mount, and a padded carrying case sized to protect the collapsed reflector and accessories. Everything needed for typical Bowens-based strobe setups is in the bag.
Materials and construction
The dish is made from MagMod’s metallic-silicone composite that resists dents and maintains shape through repeated folding. Magnets are embedded on the rim to accept grids, socks, and other magnetic modifiers quickly and securely without clips or adhesives.
Size and light shaping
At 20 inches across, the reflector produces the characteristic beauty-dish falloff—soft overall light with a sculpted center and pleasing catchlights. The included XL Grid narrows the spread to roughly 40°, reducing spill and increasing contrast while preserving the dish’s soft wrap.
How it’s used
Folded it fits in the supplied case for transport to location or storage in a studio. Mount the Bowens adapter to compatible strobes, expand the dish, attach the diffusion sock for smoother highlights or the grid for directional control, and shoot beauty, headshots, fashion, or editorial portraits.
Compatibility
The kit includes a Bowens mount and works directly with Bowens-style strobes. If you use other mount systems, adapter mounts are available separately to interface with brands like Godox or Profoto.
