BESNEW 3-Piece Natural Loofah Chew Toys for Rabbits & Small Pets
Product description
What you get
This package contains three individual loofah toys made from 100% natural loofah fiber. Each piece is ready to use: they’re lightweight, easy to hang in a cage or leave loose on the floor, and small enough to fit most rabbit and small-pet enclosures.
Materials and safety
The toys are crafted from pure plant-based loofah with no additives, dyes, or synthetic coatings. Because the material is edible, chewing helps wear down continually growing teeth without introducing chemicals. They are recommended to be offered alongside timothy hay and your pet’s regular food to maintain balanced nutrition.
How to use
Hang a loofah from a clip or place it in the run for supervised chewing. Pets may also nibble on them after meals or carry them around as a play object. The fibrous surface provides abrasion for tooth wear and can be used to gently brush or massage fur in a pinch.
Environmental angle
These loofah pieces serve as a compostable alternative to plastic chews, preserving the chewing function while reducing disposable synthetic waste. When one toy has been worn away, replace it with another from the set.
Who it’s for
Designed for rabbits and chinchillas, the loofahs are also appropriate for small dogs and cats that enjoy gnawing. Individual interest varies, so it’s normal for some animals to take to them immediately while others may be more indifferent.
Pros
- 100% natural and edible material
- Helps wear down continually growing teeth
- Multi-use: chewable, hangable, and useful for light grooming
Cons
- Fibers can come loose and create a bit of mess
- Some pets lose interest after initial use
- Durability varies by chewer
VerdictA simple, plant-based chew set that provides safe gnawing and light enrichment. The loofah fibers help reduce overgrowth of constantly growing teeth and are fully edible with no added chemicals. Most small pets respond enthusiastically at first; durability and interest can vary by animal. Expect some loose fibers as the toy is worn, but the three-piece set makes rotation easy. A practical, eco-con

Very pleased with these loofahs
These added nice variety to my rabbit’s enclosure. The plant texture is different from synthetic toys and my pet enjoys chewing them. Having three pieces lets me swap them out as each one wears down.

Pleasantly useful for my rabbit
My rabbit sniffed it, then started nibbling right away. The size is convenient and it hangs easily in the cage. After several days it still looks intact and gives my pet something safe to chew on between meals.

All three of my buns enjoyed them
Every one of my mini Rex rabbits liked these loofahs. They played with and chewed them, so they’ll be on our reorder list.

Lightweight and well made chew toy
My rabbit loved tossing and retrieving this toy. It had no noticeable smell and was easy for her to handle. The construction seems sturdy so far—she hasn’t been able to chew it apart.

Excellent natural choice for dental care
These loofahs give me confidence because they’re pure plant fiber with no additives. They’re ideal as a thoughtful gift for rabbit owners who want a safe, natural chewing option. The fibrous texture helps reduce tooth overgrowth while offering an eco-friendly alternative to plastic.

Good build but some drawbacks
My bunnies checked them out immediately but lost interest quickly—there isn’t much taste to them. They do shed small strands when chewed, which makes a bit of a mess. The loofah itself feels dense and well made; I just wish it held interest longer for my particular pets.

Nice enrichment, honest product
They’re basically loofah sponges, and my rabbit grabbed one and began nibbling immediately. After the initial excitement he hasn’t used it much, but the item is exactly as described and fine to keep or repurpose if your pet doesn’t stay interested.

Entertaining at first, then fades
My rabbits went crazy for them on day one, but by the second day they weren’t as enthusiastic. They still toss them around sometimes, so they aren’t useless—just not a constant favorite.
