Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets for Pet Hair — 24-Count Pack
Product description
Designed specifically for homes with cats and dogs, this pack contains 24 single-dose cleaning tablets intended to provide roughly a year of monthly maintenance. Each tablet is formulated to dissolve in the presence of water and activate cleaning agents that target pet hair, grease, and odor-causing residue.
The tablets are made as a slow-dissolving, drop-in formulation so you simply place one into an empty machine and run a cleaning or hot wash cycle. They work on surfaces where pet debris accumulates but isn’t always visible — the outer drum face, the rubber door seal, internal hoses and plumbing pathways — loosening trapped fur and grime so it can be rinsed away.
Packaging holds a 24-count supply and is intended for single-tablet dosing; one tablet per empty cycle is the recommended usage for routine upkeep. The formula is advertised as septic-safe and suitable for both high-efficiency (HE) and standard washing machines, meaning no special dispensing or measuring is required.
For deeper buildup, users can run successive cycles or repeat the treatment. No scrubbing is necessary for routine maintenance, though wiping out loosened fur and residue after the cycle accelerates the freshening effect. The product is presented as a straightforward, mess-free alternative to liquid cleaners or manual deep-cleaning methods.
Regular monthly use is suggested to help reduce lingering pet and musty odors and to protect washer performance by limiting buildup over time. Compatibility with standard and HE washers and a septic-safe formulation are core selling points for pet households seeking low-effort maintenance.
Pros
- Targets pet hair and hidden buildup
- Easy single-tablet, no-measure application
- Compatible with HE and standard washers; septic-safe
Cons
- Some users want a stronger fresh scent
- Not all users reported success

VerdictThese single-dose tablets are a practical maintenance product for households with shedding pets. Most users report noticeably fresher machines, though a few found them ineffective or wished for a stronger scent. Overall, a sensible mo

Overpriced compared with simple alternatives
I’d opt for a basic sodium carbonate cleaner instead if you want a cheaper method that also tackles residue.

Must-have for heavy shedders
I have two big-shedding dogs and my washer smelled and collected fur in the seal. I ran a hot self-clean cycle with one tablet and was shocked at how much hair and grime flushed out. The drum looks clean and the doggy mustiness disappeared. It’s effortless — throw a tablet in an empty machine, run the cycle, wipe away residue. I now use one monthly and my laundry comes out free of hair. Truly a game changer.

They work, but do some manual cleaning too
The tablets loosened hair and grime, but I still had to wipe out excess fur from the door seal. They’re effective but not a complete one-step solution.

Good supply and removes dog odor
Came with enough tablets for a long time and got rid of the dog smell in the washer after washing pet beds. Smells pleasant afterward.

Great for cat-owning household
I noticed a damp, musty smell on my hands after hanging laundry. One hot-clean cycle with a tablet removed the odor and the laundry smelled much fresher. I had an issue with a missing delivery but the vendor’s customer service handled the refund quickly.

Solved hair on clothes for combo washer
My combo washer-dryer never handled dog hair well. After using one tablet the hair problem cleared up. I have four dogs, so it’s been working hard, but it still did the job.

Didn’t work for me
Tried these and didn’t see any improvement. Smell and hair remained. Felt like a waste of money.

Effective with two cycles for deeper grime
Our new washer started imparting an odd odor to clothes. We ran two separate cleaning cycles with tablets to dig out buildup and scum, and it helped a lot. Very pleased with the result and would recommend trying them.

Works well, wish it smelled fresher
My machine developed a musky smell after many cycles. These tablets are simple to use — no powders or measuring — just toss one in and run a normal wash, then wipe down. The scent hasn’t returned for weeks. My only gripe is the price and that it lacks a more noticeable fresh fragrance.
