3-Panel 6 x 6 ft Mobile Welding Screen with Frame and 12 Swivel Casters
Product description
Enhanced UV and spark protection: Each panel is manufactured from flame-resistant vinyl designed to reduce harmful UV radiation and shield eyes and skin from welding flash. The material also resists splatter and some heat exposure, helping protect people and equipment nearby.
Portable, stable mobility: The kit includes 12 full-rotation caster wheels so the three-panel screen can be rolled to the exact spot you need. Six of those casters lock for on-the-spot stability, letting you secure the assembly during welding operations.
Built for workshop use: The screen comes assembled with a tubular metal frame to support the vinyl panels and reduce tipping. Metal grommets are provided to attach the vinyl to the frame, and the overall design balances durability with mobility for routine shop tasks.
Where it’s useful: Intended for welding bays, auto inspection areas, shipyards and general industrial spaces, the screen isolates the welding area from bystanders and other workstations, limiting UV flash, sparks, and molten metal from escaping the work zone.
Coverage and dimensions: This unit features three connected panels, each sized to provide a combined protective envelope roughly 6 feet by 6 feet. The panels and frame assemble to create a large barrier that keeps a welding zone contained while remaining simple to move or store.
Pros
- Good UV and spark protection from flame-resistant vinyl
- Highly mobile with 12 swivel casters, six lockable
- Large 3-panel coverage for isolating a welding area
Cons
- Frame tubing feels lightweight under heavy strain
- Supplied cable ties can tear the vinyl over time
- Not ideal as a wind block or for constant outdoor exposure
VerdictThis 3-panel welding screen gives strong protection against UV flash, sparks and molten splatter while remaining portable. The vinyl panels and metal frame deliver good coverage and fire resistance, and the 12 swivel casters — half with brakes — make repositioning simple. Expect functional performance in workshops and garages, but some users report the frame and fastenings feel lightweight and the

Adjustable base but upgrade the top grommets
Assembly was straightforward and the adjustable base lets you position it as needed. The pipe joints are a bit loose until everything is tensioned, but the weak point for me was the top mounting holes stretching under load. I installed aluminum grommets with a grommet tool to reinforce those holes—an extra expense but worth it to prevent tearing.

Works well for screening, longevity uncertain
These screens do the job of sectioning off a welding area and are easy to move for occasional use. My concern is the attachment method—zip ties join the vinyl to the frame and could stress the material over long-term use, and the frame feels a bit thin. After eight months with light use they’re still functioning.

Indoor use only — prone to tipping
Update: very flimsy and will fall over in wind. Legs have bent and welds seem incomplete. The plastic is attached with zip ties and tears easily at the connections. It’s usable inside but not reliable outdoors.

Big and straightforward
Simple to put together and performs as expected.

Effective barrier for protecting bystanders
Performs well at shielding coworkers while I weld and is easy to reposition when needed.

Construction feels cheap and unstable
Very flimsy overall. The vinyl is heavy and seems too much for the lightweight frame. The supplied zip ties were too thin, so I replaced them with thicker ties to prevent tearing.

Decent build for general use
Solid quality for a basic welding curtain. The material and construction are acceptable for workshop use.

Simple setup and keeps dust contained
Quick to assemble and a solid value. I use it to corral grinding dust and make cleanup easier, and it also helps protect anyone who walks into my shop while I’m working.
