Adjustable Snap-On Bias Binder Presser Foot for Low-Shank Machines
Product description
You receive one snap-on style adjustable bias binding presser foot designed for low-shank domestic sewing machines.
The foot is a compact unit with both plastic and metal parts and a guiding channel that accepts folded bias tape. The binding width can be adjusted across a range from about 5 mm to 20 mm so you can use narrow to medium pre-folded tape.
Installation is simple: it snaps onto any machine that accepts low-shank snap-on feet. Once attached, feed pre-folded bias tape into the guide and stitch to finish fabric edges neatly. It’s intended to fold and hold the tape as the machine sews, producing a tidy edge on quilts, garments and home-sewn items.
Compatibility: made for low-shank snap-on machines from brands such as Singer, Brother, Janome, Babylock, Kenmore, White, Juki, New Home, Simplicity, Elna and similar models. This presser foot is not compatible with slant-shank or high-shank machines; refer to your machine’s shank style (images or manual) to confirm fit.
If the foot does not match your machine, contact the seller for assistance or an exchange. The package contains one tape-binding presser foot only.
Pros
- Quick snap-on installation
- Adjustable 5–20 mm binding width
- Works well with pre-folded bias tape
Cons
- Not for slant- or high-shank machines
- Can require fiddly setup for seams
- Plastic components can feel fragile
VerdictA simple, affordable snap-on presser foot that speeds up attaching narrow bias tape on low-shank machines. It’s quick to install and works well with pre-pressed tape in the 5–20 mm range. Expect occasional fiddling with setup and note it won’t fit slant- or high-shank machines.

Not for me
It wobbled on my machine and caused crooked seams. Returning was difficult, so I ended up wasting money.

Big help once adjusted
After setting it for my tape width it really improved my binding. I still need practice but results look much neater.

Worked after a couple tries
First two units arrived with small cracks, so I kept the second. It performed well, though feeding tape into the slots is fiddly and seams need the foot removed. Good value despite modest quality.

Useful addition to my kit
Fits my older low-shank Kenmore and, once lowered, is stable. Takes patience to thread and adjust, but it made sewing binding faster and more consistent when I learned to feed the fabric correctly.

Good for thin bias only
Ideal for slim, pre-folded tape. Thicker binding can slip from the grooves and won’t hold well.

Works with pre-pressed tape
Great when using the folded bias tape sold in haberdasheries. A single strip of bias tape doesn’t feed properly.

Very good on modern machines
Works well on newer models. My older Singer Starlette had a different presser-foot width so it didn’t fit, but the seller refunded after seeing photos. Good quality for compatible machines.
