Hercules DG400BB Folding Laptop Stand with Carry Bag
Product description
The Hercules DG400BB is a single-piece folding laptop stand built for portable use. It arrives with the stand itself and a tailored carry bag that protects the unit in transit and fits easily into gig or travel kit. The construction relies on a robust metal frame with rubberized contact points where your laptop rests and small rear stabilizer legs that shift the center of gravity forward for added security.
This stand supports laptops up to 10 kg (22 lb) and accommodates a range of notebook sizes, including large 15"–17" models. There are three fixed height settings — roughly 8.6", 10.4" and 12.4" — and multiple tilt angles at the joints so you can fine-tune screen height and keyboard slope. A stepladder-style locking approach at the hinge avoids sudden collapse and keeps each position secure during use.
Set-up is tool-free: unfold the one-piece unit, choose a height and angle, and place your laptop on the rubberized arms. When finished, fold it flat into a slim profile that slips into the supplied pouch. The stand is intended for DJs, producers, office and home users who need a rugged, transportable platform that stays put under active use.
Pros
- Sturdy metal frame with rear stabilizers
- Three height settings and multiple tilt angles
- Collapses flat and includes a protective carry bag
Cons
- Relatively heavy for handheld carrying
- Rubber tabs may need occasional re-seating
- Top clamp pads could be offered in different sizes
VerdictA heavy-duty, portable riser that balances stability with compact transport. Its solid metal frame, rear support legs and anti-slip pads keep even large laptops steady, while three height positions and adjustable tilt cover most setup needs. It's a little weighty but folds flat and stows in the included bag, making it well suited to studio, live and on-the-road use.

Great choice for DJ use
Very sturdy and portable with an intuitive folding mechanism. I wish it offered a taller setting, but the current heights and solid feel make it a five-star performer for gigs.

Dependable rig for live sets and studio work
After trying several stands, this model has proven to be the most solid. It held a 15" MacBook Pro rock-steady during live sets. The three height options and adjustable tilt are very useful, and the one-piece fold-up design sets up and breaks down in seconds. The metal build feels long-lasting; the rubber holders can loosen sometimes but a dab of adhesive fixed that.

Bought a second for dual setups
This is my second unit so I can run both laptops at once. They’re attractive, strong and reliable on the road and in the studio — a dependable choice for demanding work.

Supports heavy 17-inch systems without complaint
As a DJ I trust it with my heavy HP Envy 17; the stand holds it firmly. Folding it away into the travel bag is quick and hassle-free.

Musician colleagues recommended this model for longevity and it hasn’t disappointed. Very sturdy and looks good, though the top grip pads could be a bit smaller or offered as extras.

Perfect for desktop audio workstations; strong support and three height settings let me position my 17" laptop exactly where I need it. Folds nearly flat and includes a travel bag.

Built like a tank with secure locks
Initially hesitated due to cost, but it’s worth it. The stepladder-style height stops prevent sudden drops, the one-piece layout means nothing gets lost, and folded it’s slim enough to slip into my controller bag.

Extremely pleased—robust and flexible
High-quality build and many position options. The only limitation is the fixed opening angles of the base and arms, so you can’t slightly widen or narrow the stance—otherwise it’s perfect. 10/10.

Perfect for large laptops thanks to smart balance
I had balance issues with another stand, but this one handles a 17" laptop reliably. The rear legs move the weight forward and the dual-angle joints let you compensate for rear-heavy machines. There's a tiny wobble at some angles, but overall it's impressively stable.

Sturdy, portable alternative to competitors
Saw this model while researching stands and the reviews sold me. It arrived quickly, feels very durable, offers three heights and tilt, and compares favorably to other popular rigs.
