Warning: region-locked extras
Bought this for a nine-year-old and it plays fine, but the product turned out to be an Asia/Europe region copy. We can enjoy the base game, but any add-ons, extra bikes, or upgrade packs won’t work with our account. The listing didn’t mention the region, and the seller couldn’t help. Returns were possible but came with a restocking fee, which felt unfair since region info was missing. Be careful and verify region compatibility before purchasing.

Region copy issue — DLC won’t work
This was a non-US copy, so any US DLC I tried to add wouldn’t install. Wish the region had been specified; now I need to buy a compatible version.

Fun update — career and first-person shine
I hesitated but went for it and was glad. Career mode is excellent, local split challenges are fun, and first-person on a good TV ramps up immersion. No bugs noticed during several hours of play; once you learn the handling it’s hard to switch views. Highly recommended.
