Sceptre 24-inch Curved Gaming Monitor — 1080p, 1500R, 1ms, 180Hz
Product description
Design and build: The display is a 24-inch, 1500R curved VA panel housed in a machine-black plastic chassis with a near-edgeless bezel for a clean multi-monitor look. The monitor accepts a VESA wall mount and ships with a removable stand to switch between desk and wall setups.
Panel and image performance: The panel targets 100% sRGB for accurate color reproduction and strong contrast typical of VA technology. Native resolution is 1920 x 1080 (Full HD), and the screen supports a factory overclock to up to 180Hz for very fluid motion. A 1ms Blur Reduction (BR) mode reduces perceived motion blur during fast sequences.
Connectivity and audio: Physical connections include two DisplayPort inputs and two HDMI ports, plus an audio-out jack. There are integrated stereo speakers built into the lower chassis for basic sound without external speakers.
Eye comfort and features: Blue-Light Shift helps reduce harmful blue light for longer viewing sessions. Adaptive-Sync / FreeSync compatibility smooths frame pacing with supported GPUs. Multiple picture presets, including game and movie modes, allow quick tuning for different uses.
Included items and materials: The package includes the monitor panel, removable stand/base, power cord and a quick start guide. The exterior is primarily molded plastic with a matte finish to reduce reflections, and the panel surface is a standard anti-glare coating suited for mixed-light environments.
Use cases: This screen is aimed at gamers who want an immersive curved view and high refresh rates, creators who appreciate wide sRGB coverage, and general users wanting a single, wide workspace. It’s simple to set up for PC or console use and works well as the centerpiece of a compact gaming or productivity desk.

Terrible controls and bothersome backlight
The joystick menu feels flimsy and is nearly impossible to use smoothly; basic adjustments became a real hassle. I tried to disable the rear accent light but couldn’t find a reliable way; covering it with tape even warped the adhesive. Between the awkward controls and that heat from the light, I can’t recommend this one based on my experience.

Fantastic value for a high-refresh curved panel
I tried the 27-inch curved Sceptre and its performance surprised me. The 180Hz plus a 1ms response gives silky gameplay with no noticeable tearing. The 1500R curve feels immersive without being overwhelming. Dual HDMI and dual DisplayPort make switching between systems effortless. Construction feels solid and the slim frame cleans up my desk. For what it offers, it competes with much more expensive name brands.

Good all-round monitor — sturdy and easy to use
Assembles quickly and is a good size for my desk. Audio could be stronger, but image and video quality are strong and the display has proven durable in daily use. Easy to operate and colors look right.

I keep buying Sceptre for reliability and upgrades
I chose another Sceptre because my previous one lasted for years without dead pixels and still runs fine. I wanted a curved panel and higher refresh; this model delivers sharper imagery, richer color and higher Hz ranges. The response feels under five milliseconds, closer to 1–3 in fast scenes. There are gaming presets (RTS, FPS), a movie profile, FreeSync support and an overclock option to 180Hz. It’s quiet, brightness is adjustable, and it’s worked smoothly on both Windows and Linux for me.

Excellent clarity and multitasking space
Huge, clear screen with crisp picture. I considered a multi-monitor setup but now run several windows side-by-side on this panel and it’s plenty usable. It gives the impression of a far more premium screen and offers strong value for a curved display.

Impressive upgrade after a decade
I hadn’t replaced a monitor in over 10 years and the difference is night and day—sports and streaming look bright and vivid. I don’t focus on gaming, but paired with an RTX 5070 Ti this handles 3D modeling and media perfectly. Very responsive overall. The bezel could be better and the brightness is slightly low at max, but it’s a great all-around screen.
