Compact Hi‑Fi Turntable Phono Preamplifier (MM, RIAA EQ)
Product description
Converts phono to line-level with accurate RIAA equalization so your turntable’s weak output becomes a clean, distortion-free signal suitable for consumer audio inputs. The unit is built specifically for moving-magnet (MM) cartridges and provides a low-noise amplification stage with subsonic filtering to keep rumble and low-frequency interference under control.
Physical construction uses a compact metal enclosure that resists vibration and wear, intended to sit beside a record player or in a small equipment rack. It offers RCA line outputs plus a 3.5mm headphone jack, enabling simultaneous connection to a stereo amplifier and headphones for flexible listening options. A threaded grounding post and a three-position earthing switch (hard, soft, or none) let you adjust grounding to remove hum or buzz in different setups.
The package includes the preamplifier and an external DC power adapter for straightforward installation; no complex setup is required beyond connecting the turntable’s RCA leads and attaching the ground wire if needed. It’s suitable for living-room systems, small studios, or anyone upgrading a record player that lacks an onboard preamp, preserving tonal warmth while improving clarity and channel balance.

Brought my Pioneer PL-570 back to life
Made my Pioneer PL‑570 playable again with minimal fuss. Setup was straightforward and the sound opened up—more obvious bass and cleaner playback. I used the hard-ground setting and experienced no hiss, though I’d suggest trying different grounding positions (hard, soft, or none) if you hear interference. The blue power LED is quite bright, so I covered it, but otherwise it performs flawlessly.
