This kit includes an anti-static velvet cleaning head and a microfiber groove brush built to lift dust from the surface and from between grooves on both sides of standard 12-inch records. The velvet side is designed for gentle sweeping across the record face; the microfiber brush is intended for more detailed work inside the grooves.
Materials are ultra-soft anti-static velvet and microfiber fibers attached to a lightweight plastic handle shaped for comfortable grip. The construction is intended to avoid scratching vinyl while making it easy to reach the record surface and grooves.

Great for older LPs
I hadn’t used a turntable in decades, then bought a unit that rips LPs to USB. I have about 150 vinyls from the late ’60s to early ’80s and chose this brush over carbon fiber for surface cleaning. I’ve digitized a few bootlegs and used the brush to remove loose dust before ripping. Results were clean and clear; I’ll use a dedicated washer for the dirtier records that need deeper cleaning.
