MECMO 50A-to-30A/15A RV Power Y-Adapter (NEMA 14-50P to TT-30R & 5-15R)
Product description
What you get: a single molded NEMA 14-50P male plug that splits into two receptacles — one NEMA TT-30R (30A, 120V) and one NEMA 5-15R (15A, 120V). Model number XN1450P-A and ETL listed.
Connector and voltages: the male end is a four-prong NEMA 14-50 rated 50 amp, 125/250 volts suitable for many RV park pedestals, generator outputs and some EV charging outlets adapted for service use. The two female ends accept a 30-amp travel trailer plug and a standard household three-prong plug respectively.
Construction and wire: the cord uses UL 62 Standard STW 10AWG x3 conductors with individual insulation and a durable, weather-resistant PVC outer jacket. The molded ends protect the connection points and the inner wires are sized for heavy-duty campground and generator use.
Capacity and usage notes: while the adapter provides access to the 50A inlet, each output is limited to a maximum safe loading of 30 amps. It is intended to let a TT-30-equipped RV run higher-draw appliances from a 50A source and also power an additional 110V device. This is not a load-balancing device; users should monitor combined draw to avoid tripping breakers.
Where to use: ideal for small and mid-size RVs, travel trailers and campers that need to tap a 50A pedestal for a TT-30 plug and a household device. Suitable for outdoor campsite connections and temporary use with compatible generators.
Pros
- Converts 50A inlet to 30A and 15A outlets
- Heavy 10AWG STW wiring with PVC jacket
- ETL listed, molded strain-relief ends
Cons
- Does not balance load between outputs
- Female ends lack protective caps
- Both outlets draw from the same 50A source
VerdictA practical Y-adapter for RV owners who need to tap a 50A supply for a 30A travel trailer plus a standard 110V device. Constructed with 10AWG STW wiring and a rugged PVC jacket, it’s ETL-marked and made for indoor/outdoor use. It won’t balance loads between outputs, so monitor draw limits (each output rated to 30A max) and avoid overloading. Good durability and broad compatibility make it a useful

Added capacity for heavier loads
Solved our power gap by giving about 20 extra amps to the 30A camper. Handy for running a space heater and my son's gaming PC.

Well made but missing caps
Exactly as described and solidly built. The male plug came with a plastic prong cover, which was nice. I wish the two female receptacles had protective caps to prevent accidental contact when not in use.
