Phenyx Pro PWM-10 Dual-Channel Wired In‑Ear Monitor System
Product description
Transparent sound and straightforward monitoring controls: The PWM-10 is built to reproduce a mix without altering tonal balance. It offers two balanced XLR inputs feeding a compact personal amplifier with an uncolored response so performers hear what’s on stage or in the studio without added character.
Two-channel routing and level control: A dedicated master control is joined by independent left and right channel trim knobs, so you can balance two sources at the belt pack. A mono/stereo selector lets you combine sources into a summed mono feed for single-ear monitoring or leave them separated for full stereo imaging.
Power and cabling: The system supports a 12V DC supply for extended sessions or two AAA cells when mains power is unavailable. The kit uses a single 7 m CAT‑5/Ethercon-style lead to carry both audio and power from the breakout adapter to the receiver, reducing the number and bulk of cables at the performer’s waist.
Included items and construction: The box contains one portable IEM amplifier (belt pack), one breakout adapter that accepts 2 XLR + 1 DC and converts to CAT‑5, a 7 m CAT‑5 cable, a DC power adapter, and two AAA batteries to get you started. Key components are housed in metal enclosures for improved durability, and connections and controls are designed for stage use.
Use cases: This wired solution is ideal for drummers, keyboardists, studio musicians, or any performer who doesn’t need to roam. It mounts easily near a kit or rig and keeps critical controls within reach, providing a stable, high‑gain monitor with minimal setup complexity.

Reliable wired monitoring for stationary performers
The PWM-10 is a dependable wired IEM option for musicians who remain near their rigs. The hardwired approach removes RF dropouts entirely and the unit delivers clear, uncolored audio. Separate level controls for each channel make balancing quick, and the ability to run off a 12V adapter or two AAA batteries adds versatility. The metal receiver and breakout feel rugged, and the output delivers noticeably more gain than consumer headphone jacks.

Good value but limited to fixed setups
Solid performance for use in a fixed position—great for drummers or home rehearsal. The unit is well made and sounds reliable. However, the belt pack’s shape makes it awkward to secure to clothing, so I kept it hardwired on my rig and didn’t try batteries. If you don’t need to move around, it’s a practical monitoring solution.

Clean sound and flexible monitoring options
After several sessions I found the sonic character very neutral, which is ideal for monitoring. Switching between mono and stereo is straightforward, and independent L/R trims helped me dial a useful mix fast. The CAT‑5 feed tidies cable runs and keeps the belt pack light. Having both external DC and battery power options meant I could adapt to different venues without fuss.

Heavy on hardware, made for professionals who stay put
This system assumes you won’t be running around a stage, but in return it offers professional-grade components and sound. The controls are smooth, the build feels substantial, and cables and clips are quality parts. It excels in studio and stationary live roles where high gain and mix options from two sources into one pack are valuable.

Compact, straightforward amp for stage monitoring
A compact monitoring amp focused on live use, with clear XLR inputs and simple mono/stereo switching. The option to run on DC or AAA batteries is handy for different situations. It reliably supplies a clean personal monitor feed and the dual-channel layout is useful when you want two independent sources at the belt pack without a full rack system.

Jesus Movement 5/5
Thoughtful kit with useful cabling and quick setup
The package arrives with everything needed: the belt pack, the XLR/DC-to-CAT‑5 adapter, the long CAT‑5 lead, a DC supply, and batteries. The RJ45-style connection makes long runs affordable and robust, and the breakout can sit by a drum kit or vocal mic so trims are close at hand. The DC/battery flexibility and immediate usability out of the box are definite pluses.

Built like a pro unit and favorable gain performance
This wired two-channel system marks a solid expansion from the maker’s wireless lineup. The kit is complete—receiver, breakout, 7 m cable, power adapter and batteries—and the PoE-style feed is a real convenience for long sessions. Both the receiver and breakout are metal-bodied and feel built for repeated use. The unit also provides healthy gain for in-ear monitoring, which was one of the strongest impressions from testing.
