9-Inch Metal Cut-Off Wheels — 9 x 3/32 x 7/8 in, 10-Pack
Product description
Includes ten 9-inch flat cut-off discs (Type 1/41), each sized 9 inches diameter, 3/32 inch thick, with a 7/8 inch center arbor and Hub Type 1 mounting. Maximum safe speed is 6,650 RPM.
Manufactured with a premium aluminum oxide abrasive blend formulated for aggressive material removal and sustained cutting life. The wheels are fully reinforced with two sheets of fiberglass to improve strength and resist breakage during hand-held cutting.
Intended for use on a variety of metal types including mild steel, stainless steel, cast iron and sheet metal. The flat disc design is optimized for straight cuts on angle grinders and offers the extra diameter needed to reach deeper sections without repositioning the workpiece.
In operation these discs produce fast cuts with relatively low burr formation, drawing less power and reducing resistance so your tool can run efficiently. They are designed for use in hand-held angle grinders when access is limited or when a single-pass, deeper cut is required.
Pros
- Thin 3/32 in profile for quicker, narrower cuts
- Aluminum oxide abrasive with dual fiberglass reinforcement
- Fits standard 7/8 in arbor and reaches deeper cuts
Cons
- Rated to 6,650 RPM only — check tool compatibility
- Thinner wheels wear faster than heavier cutting discs
- Requires proper PPE and guarded equipment for safe use
VerdictThese 9-inch cut-off wheels offer a practical balance of cutting speed, strength and value. The 3/32 in thickness gives a faster, narrower kerf than heavier wheels while maintaining enough rigidity for longer cuts. Constructed from an aluminum oxide blend and reinforced with two layers of fiberglass, they hold up well in routine metal‑cutting tasks on angle grinders. They’re best for heavy section

Leaves Neat Cuts with Minimal Burr
They slice through steel quickly without excessive force. The aluminum oxide abrasive leaves relatively little burr compared to thicker wheels, and the extra diameter helps access awkward spots. I kept the grinder at compatible speed and let the wheel do the work for clean results.

Angle Grinder Cut-Off Discs That Deliver
Picked these up for my partner to use in his grinder. Ten 9 x 3/32 x 7/8 in discs made of aluminum oxide, they slice through metal quickly with limited sparks and feel robust. Good performance and solid value.

Reliable Midweight Cutters That Stay Balanced
Used around the farm for light-gauge roofing, aluminum and occasional rebar. The discs stayed intact when others have failed and ran true with no wobble. With proper eye and face protection they performed consistently across dozens of linear feet of cuts.

Consumables with Strong Value
Good quality consumables that perform like other reputable brands. Same thickness and durability, but more economical for routine shop use.

Handled Tough Cuts Well
These wheels cut a variety of metals in my shop and lasted longer than I expected on harder mixes. Balanced with no wobble and maintained integrity throughout use. Will buy more.

High-Value Abrasive Wheels for Heavy Work
I usually use smaller 4.5 in wheels but needed deeper reach for some jobs. These 9-inch discs fit my heavy grinder's 7/8 in arbor perfectly and cut through hardened parts the saw blade couldn’t. Construction and wear matched the name-brand wheels I’ve used, and they showed minimal degradation after several cuts.

Sturdy 9-Inch Disc: Speed Meets Strength
These 9-inch wheels handled thicker steel without becoming fragile. The 3/32 in thickness offers a good compromise — faster and slimmer than 1/8 in discs but still rigid enough for longer cuts. They track straight once engaged and the aluminum oxide stays cutting instead of glazing, which helped on 1/4 in mild steel angle and plate work.

Strong Cutting Performance — 10-Pack Value
The ten-pack gives plenty of discs for larger projects. They felt consistently built and easy to mount. Cutting performance was aggressive yet controllable; they got through metal efficiently and held up across multiple cuts without premature wear.
