VASTOOLS MIG Welding Accessory Kit — 8-Piece Welder Tools
Product description
What’s included: a heat-treated high-carbon steel chipping hammer, a pair of leather welding gloves, two 50 lb magnetic angle holders, an 8-inch welpers-style pliers, a MIG nozzle reamer, flat and round soapstone holders with replacement sticks, and a heavy-duty wire brush.
Chipping hammer: forged from high-carbon steel and heat treated for durability, the hammer measures about 10-1/2 inches overall with a 1-1/16-inch wide chisel face to help clear slag efficiently from welds and joints.
Leather gloves: full-length leather gloves (approx. 13.5 inches) built for heat and flame resistance, featuring a soft cotton lining for comfort, fully welted seams to protect stitching, and lock-stitch construction for longer wear during repetitive welding operations.
Welding magnets: two heavy-duty 50 lb magnetic angle holders, roughly 4-3/4 inches in size, provide solid support for tacking and fixture work. They hold workpieces at common angles — 45°, 90°, and 135° — to simplify alignment and positioning.
Welpers pliers: an 8-inch multi-purpose pliers made from alloy steel and heat treated. The jaws include aggressive teeth on both the nose and pipe gripping areas to pull, cut and hold welding wire, remove tips, and handle insulation bushings reliably.
MIG nozzle reamer: a hardened steel reamer designed to shave away accumulated spatter inside nozzles, improving gas flow and reducing wire feeding problems, which helps extend nozzle life and reduce stoppages.
Soapstone holders and chalk: both flat and round soapstone holders are supplied, along with replacement chalk — 5 flat pieces and 45 round sticks — for making bright, removable marks on metal surfaces during layout and tack welding.
Wire brush: a heavy-duty wire brush about 11 inches long overall, with roughly 1-inch bristles arranged in four by fifteen rows to give broad, effective coverage when cleaning slag, scale and spatter from joints and surrounding areas.
How to use: use the chipping hammer and wire brush to remove slag and clean the weld area; the nozzle reamer keeps the torch clear of spatter; pliers manage wire feed and tip removal; magnets hold parts at standard angles for tacking; soapstone marks metals for cuts and fit-up; gloves protect hands from heat and sparks.

Solid starter selection
A very usable kit for beginning stick welding — it contains nearly everything needed. MIG users should add a dedicated tip/cup cleaner, but I would purchase this again.
